Thick
These do exactly what they are supposed to do, but I think they may be a bit too thick. The seat doesn’t lay as flat because these cushions are so thick, but you definitely don’t have any more loud slamming, so I think the trade-off is worth it.

Require more glue to get them to adhere, but a great concept!
Great concept but won’t stay on. I ended up using super glue to get them to adhere. I believe that is going to work. We shall see! Thank you.

The falling off is real
I first noticed the bumper was slightly askew from the sticking tape after a couple of weeks; over the course of time it moved more and eventually fell off.I _think_ what is happening is that when you sit down on the toilet seat it can move slightly; even if the hinges are tightly screwed down the seat will move. The rubber on these bumpers may grip to the toilet bowl and so provide a "shearing force" between the rubber and the tape, and eventually it pulls free. The heavier you are the more likely it is for the seat to move slightly.

Squishy type foam material doesn't seem sanitary/cleanable for given use.
These delivered quickly and are pretty much as they say but they are made of a foamy type material so are a bit squishy- (not super squishy but not firm/hard as typical ones). This material seems to me like it is very unsanitary as it will absorb germs. Have males in my household who can tend to make a mess and the hard plastic seems more sanitary as it can be cleaned easily. Also while the dimensions are posted, you need to actually measure your seat/current ones (it says fits most standard and of course I made the mistake of assuming my standard seat was 'standard') and these are quite large. taller/higher than what is on the seat and longer, I was going to add them in addition to the two that are on there for equal support but can't as they don't match up. So it says fits most standard but you should measure to be sure as they do not fit mine and it is standard. Luckily they didn't cost much so worth a try but not really going to work for me. If the soft material doesn't bother you and the measurements are right for you then these will make a great value, otherwise not so much.
