The set up was very easy and happened to work with the first of many codes for a Sharp TV. So far all the buttons I need to use seem to work properly. But I would not recommend this remote as the lag between pressing a button and the action happening is very slow. Range is decent, but it has to pointed directly at the TV. Sometime it doesn't register you've pushed a button and have to do it again. It works for all intensive purposes, but not very well. Thus only giving it two stars for easy setup and it actually working. Honestly I bought this one because it was the cheapest and would arrive next day, but in the future I'll spend a little more on another remote.

Universal Remote - List Price $5.99. Pros: This was extremely easy to connect with TV. The buttons push easily, and it works with standard AAA batteries. Cons: This does not work to control a Roku so for our uses it doesn't work.

Easy to set up even without any instructions or code list, because it didn't come with anything. HOWEVER, I can't even use the input button to switch input devices and there's no ENTER button to select anything(and yes I tried the OK button and it won't work)
