Product description KITCHEN WORKTOP DESIGN WORKBENCH These benches are made in our workshop by hand. Ideal for garages, factories, workshops, sheds, green houses (we've even had customers using them as kitchen island units) The worktop is a 28 mm Chipboard worktop just like you get in your kitchen. We even supply the metal end protectors with it ! The framing is 89 x 32 mm CLS timber which has been pressure treated for extra durability. Our workbench comes complete with the lower shelf which is ideal for storing items on. As the work top is a kitchen worktop it is easily wiped clean so ideal if using for food preparation or greasy engines etc. All timber and worktop is BRAND NEW. SUPPLIED WITH 4 LEGS AND HANDY LOWER SHELF. Better as a workbench in my opinion
Arrived damaged but company sent replacement top.. l wanted to use it as a kitchen island but didn’t look great unless you want a very rustic look... the metal sides they sent for edging need to be cut down to size which isn’t easy if you haven’t got a cutter handy.. and the back of the top is unfinished so I eventually used black tape round the whole top.. it looked okay but I have now got rid of the island as didn’t look right in my kitchen but as a workbench it would work well

Top too small for the frame....
Lovely sturdy workbench. Relatively easy to put together however the black kitchen worktop was too small for the frame and the side strips were too long for the top! I had to saw them off to fit.

Go to the gym before you attempt assembly!
This is difficult to assemble, you will need a drill, a power screwdriver and it’s still difficult to put together. The side panels to hide the chip board are too long. You basically have a load of wood, woods screws and then you need to go to their website to look at how it’s assembled. I gave up after finally attaching the legs, which took 2 days! I ran out of energy and the will to finish!

Kitchen island.
Solid. Easy to assemble and it's currently cheaper to buy it direct from the manufacturer.
