It does the job, but you need a good grip. Think the grip type ones may be easier to use if your grip is t great. Make sure you soften the fondant/modeling paste first and dust the inside of the tube. Easy to use on larger the holes/shapes, but some strength is needed on the smaller holes. But it does the job.

such a clever little gadget

It was fair for the price I'm using for clay, so it felt a little flimsy, but if you're using it for cake decorating you should be fine

Bought this product since it was recommended to me via various Instagram pages who also craft. Really useful little machine if you’re looking to roll out specific clay shapes. Unfortunately after only three days of using this, the rubber around the inside which pushes the clay out of the dispenser got stuck, or at least some part inside jammed and the device is now unusable. I made sure to keep it free of clay for this reason and made sure to clean after each use but watch out as I’m not sure what I did but now I’m unable to use the screw top at all (even with some force!). Haven’t seen this happen to anyone else so might have just been an unfortunate manufacturing error for me but otherwise really useful for jewellery making!

Great product and very good value for money but as the headline says, if you have arthritis, tendonitis etc you may find it difficult to turn the handle.
