works great
smaller than expected, which for me is nice since i live in a small place. i like the led light. doesn't give off too much heat. its quiet enough, and also has a sleep mode setting so its still running, but is even quieter. my favorite part is seeing how much water it collects in a day. works amazingly well and does exactly what its supposed to do. also, the auto shut-off is great. i dont have to worry about overflow! the only issue for me is the cord is shorter than i hoped, probably about 5ft? doesn't matter much though, if you have an extension cord!

Most efficient dehumidifier
I’m so glad I purchased this dehumidifier! It works efficiently and quickly to remove excess moisture from the air, making a huge difference in my home’s comfort. The unit is surprisingly quiet, easy to set up, and the water tank is simple to empty. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in humidity, which has helped with musty odors and even improved my allergies.

Adorable little unit. Draws moisture out of air well.
For the size that this is, I would say the appropriate room would be a bathroom or a closet. Or perhaps a couple of these in a room such as a living room. It helps in any room, but the capacity of operation of a unit this size means you'd feel the effect best in a smaller space. I've had it on since the day I got it, and at its pace of dehumidification, it takes six to seven days to fill the container. I live in a humid area in the subtropics. ---I have another dehumidifier of similar size, and they both draw out the same amount of water. So this unit doesn't lag behind its peers. What I like about this unit specifically is that it has a simple plug. The adapters that are on most dehumidifiers get hot and sometimes unplug themselves because they hang heavy in the socket. ---I also really like the light effect on this unit. It's surround, so I don't have to angle it any certain way. The colors shift with enough time to see them all, and it doesn't come across as a blinking light in the peripheral. Some other units shift too fast and it annoys the eye because it draws too much attention. This one is more smooth and mellow. It illuminates enough to be used as a night light. ---The air intake is also surround, which I like more than I thought I would. My other dehumidifier has the air intake on the back, so when I put it on a shelf or cabinet the air intake faces the wall and isn't as effective. I have to use that one with the ugly back side facing out, so it's nice that this unit is cute all around. ---The buttons to operate it are simple push buttons. On/off unit & on/stop/off light. The unit has to be on for the light to work. For the light, you can stop it on a certain color if you don't want it to shift. I mention that the buttons are push, because it's easier to operate for someone who has trouble with tactile buttons. I'll again compare this to my other dehumidifier, which has hidden buttons that have me mashing at it until I finally hit the right spot. I don't much care, but that detail can cause frustration for someone elderly or disabled, so that makes this unit more approachable for a wider demographic. ---The only thing I can pick on is that the white plastic top doesn't look so deluxe in the daytime. You can tell by how the plastic looks that this isn't an expensive item. But you can't see that at night, and this is not something I use purely as a decorative item anyways. ---Overall, well worth its price tag. I recommend this unit for its cute led light as well as ability to draw moisture from the air.

Seems to work, but it's slow, so don't expect quick results
This is relatively quiet, and I like that you can turn off the colorful LED lights. It fits on the back of my toilet in a small bathroom, with the hose draining directly into the bathtub. It drains without leaking, and the hose provided is flexible and quite long, so you'll have options as to where to drain if you choose to use the hose. Before I hooked up the hose, I let the reservoir fill so I could see how much water it was pulling out of the air. I got about 1 cup of water per day, and given the size of the tank, I would probably only have to empty the tank about once per week or so.Be aware that it puts off quite a bit of heat, much like a small radiator would if set on low. The heat seems to help dry the air out, so I don't mind it, but depending on your location, you may not want any additional heat in the room. All that's to say that yes, it works in that it does bring down the humidity, but it does so very slowly. It's absolutely better than nothing, but even though it says it can handle 1000 sq ft, I used it in a small bathroom of about 64 sq ft, and it made little difference in a high humidity situation (steam from a shower, for instance), so I can't imagine this would do much at all in a larger space.I got this on a Prime sale, so it was inexpensive, and given the performance, it was worth it for me. I think the best use of this would be to have a few of them in different corners of a damp basement where you have them drain into a hole in the floor and run 24/365 in a set-it-and-forget-it situation -- or if you have a cabin or RV or boat where you can just leave it running (and draining) while you're away. It seems powerful enough to take the edge off the humidity, and it's compact size makes it versatile.

Leaked in only 3 months of use. All over my floor.
Correction. I ordered this in November of 2024…..today it leaked all over my apartment living room floor….IT LEAKED ALL OVER THE PLACE…. No warning as it was perfect or so I thought, when I emptied the bucket two days ago .. The bucket was half full when it decided to leak all over the place….Today after the tank was totally dry, I could see long cracks in the plastic tank. I’m very gentle on things. So how does a product not even last 3 months?Do not buy.
