My husband collapsed in the driveway several weeks ago and ended up with a large, bloody “brush burn” on his arm. The EMT’s cleaned and wrapped it before leaving but I had no idea how to care for him. After researching wound care, I decided to order these Xeroform Petrolatum Dressings. We applied them as directed and within 2 weeks the entire area healed. These were amazing and worked beautifully.

I ordered the Xeroform Dressing for a large grease burn on my forearm and it worked great. Each dressing comes in an individually sealed sterile packet that can be cut to fit the size of your wound or burn. I used the Xeroform daily, per instructions, for about two weeks and my burn is gone. A clean, dry bandage or wrap does need to be applied over the Xeroform due to the fact that it is petrolatum-based. I would say the only bad thing about this product is the smell. It does have a very strong smell that could be overwhelming for some people.
