I had a pair of Madden Girl Teddy Slides that I wore around my house religiously because they had a wide footbed and were pretty comfortable on my feet as I have medical issues with them. I looked for weeks for a replacement however, they were continuously sold out so I aborted my mission and started looking for something that would provide my feet with even more comfort and stability. I don't remember how I ran across these shoes, but based on the good reviews I decided to give them a try. I received them today and was surprised when I opened the box and saw how well they were packaged! I ordered the black in my true size and after adjusting the buckles a bit I got them to my liking. I am really happy with the quality, fit, and overall look of the shoes. I have hardwood floors and have noticed a bit of slipping due to the bottom, but I think after breaking them in they will be just fine. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and feel like these shoes are a GREAT option for those who like to save a buck and try a different brand other than Birkenstock. I am going to order the light brown because I like them so much. If you're hesitant don't be. Pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed.

So very comfy, almost as comfortable as slippers, sturdy but not stiff. I wear size 8 due to wide feet and the fit was true to size. Looks like Birkenstocks but much more cheaper and comfortable!

These sandals are beautifully made, the soles are comfortable, and the color was just as shown, but they are too big for my foot. I wear a 7½, and these are an inch too long and too wide to fit snugly. I'll look for another style from this company.

I Took a chance and purchasing this item I didn’t have that many reviews, but the reviews that I read were very good and they live up to their description. They are like walking on clouds very nice quality shoe, good arch support and cushion where you need it and they look very very nice. I got two pairs. I hope that they will last a long time. I have a very hard time finding shoes to fit comfortably. I’ve had surgery on my toe and flat feet so therefore I really need a comfortable pair of shoes and so far this is them very satisfied.

I really liked the idea of these reasonably priced alternatives to the major brand. However, I can’t say they compared well. I ordered the suede pair in the chestnut color. The outer of the upper (which is strange to say) seemed to be real leather suede. However, the part against my foot (the inner of the upper) felt like fabric, at least in this suede pair. I looked closely, and it looks like there are two layers bonded together in the upper, with the outer suede and the inner what feels like synthetic fabric-like material. There were several places that looked like cuts in the leather outer, possibly from the tag. The footbed seemed to be real suede and it was cushioned with memory foam. It did not have much or any arch support, which is something I need.These had a general “look” that went along with the name-brand styling, but the quality and level of support were not as good. There was something a bit different where they wouldn’t be mistaken for the big brand. However, given the price point, it would definitely work as a comfy summer shoes, especially if you don’t need or want arch support.I did end up sending them back, though, as the size was short on me despite use of the size chart. My feet are pretty much 140cm long, and the size 7 just barely fit, but it felt too short (I could sometimes feel the outer edges of the shoes with my toe and heel).I might try a different material, now that they are on sale, in 7.5 to see if that is better. It is possible the lining of the upper would be different for the suede upper versus the smooth leather. If I do, I’ll update this review.

I LOVE these, but please read…The shoes were shipped quickly in the original shoe box that had been taped shut, and they arrived undamaged. The sandals look just like those pricey cork soled sandals, but at a much better price. They run true to size and are EXTREMELY comfortable.However, here is what you need to know: I have wide feet and have never been able to wear that expensive brand, as the footbed is unforgiving and hurts my feet. These sandals only have that unforgiving edge around the outside. The footbed is like memory foam, and there is very little, if any, arch support, which works well for my feet. I had to adjust the straps one notch on each sandal, and it was a minor struggle as the holes are very small. I totally recommend these sandals, especially if you have wide feet and have never been able to comfortably wear that name brand. I will probably order another pair in a different color.

So confession. I’m usually a high end shoe type girl like I don’t buy off brand shoes of any type! However I’ve been in the market for some name brand Birks for a while. But I’ve tried them on and all were so heavy and just bulky feeling, hurt my feet and just didn’t seem like It was worth the cash $$$ I ran across these looking for a summer sandal and though what the heck let’s give them a shot!!! These things are COMFY! And not to mention real leather!!!! The soles are quality and nice with slight pad, the straps are soft leather not super super stiff. I did do a 6.5 even though I’m usually a 6 but could’ve easily I think went with a 6 so they are very true to size! I have a wide bony foot some sometimes it’s hard to find good fit comfy shoes but these did It perfect!! I’m gonna go back and buy their version in different colors as long as they hold up well!! So impressed and super glad I took a leap of faith!!!

I wear size 8 to 8.5 with inserts specially made for pain. But I was only going to wear in house without inserts so I ordered size 7 and fits fine. Wearing in house is fine. Without strap on heel would not be comfortable outside walking. I must admit these are very comfortable slide in shoes, and I’m preferring them to use around the house instead of my slide in Birkenstock. I may have found a more affordable replacement!
