Deluxe Vertical Shoulder Holster

This holster is well-made and fits snugly. It distributes weight evenly and is highly adjustable. Great for range days or carrying under a jacket. Some might prefer more padding, but for the price, it’s a solid choice.

So ultimately I wanted to carry at home with comfort. I rarely ever wear jeans when I'm at home relaxing so I wanted to be able to have a holster that didnt require a belt. This vertical holster was going to be the best bet for what I wanted. However, it didnt really deliver. Sure I can carry it at home but the dang thing is incredibly uncomfortable over time. The entire rig is made up of adjustable straps and buckles and velcro which is great for custom fitting I'll tell you what, but it does make it look really really ugly and sloppy. It took me literally a week to fully adjust everything to my liking. It takes a lot of trial and error and I found that right when i thought it was perfect, it just wasnt comfortable a couple minutes later. So expect to be tugging and adjusting this thing until you find the right fit. The way the straps work is that it loops around your belt. I did not know that. So what I ended up doing is just fastening some light duty suspender clips to the loops so they can clamp onto anything (my case my gym shorts which works out perfectly). The holster itself is half decent. It took me just as long to find the sweet spot for my Smith and Wesson SD40VE. Sure it fits like a glove now but it took a very long time and again, a lot of trial and error to snug it around my firearm. Would I buy this rig again for my purpose? No. If You're looking to edc at the home with this because you might think it's comfortable, look elsewhere or save up some money for a Remora holster. Oh and another thing, my firearm fully loaded gets pretty darn heavy after wearing it a couple of hours and the rig isn't designed (or im sure it isn't designed) for heavy firearms because the dang rig tends to slouch on that side where you're carrying and after a day or two, you get a kink in your neck. At least that's my experience with this rig. I'm sure this rig would be perfect for people who shoot airsoft but it ain't practical for real firearms.

Hey everyone, Mike Jones here again with another quick and concise Amazon review. So up today we have the UTG LE Grade Vertical Shoulder Holster, Black. This item works as intended and for the price it cannot be beat. I saw plenty of holsters out there that cost 3x the amount and it seems hard to justify that price difference when this one works so well. I cannot attest to the longevity of the item, but it really works well and has been used several times. I have carried a 4" and a 5" barreled pistol in this setup and it worked without any issues. The fit is somewhat complicated to get down at first but after about 20 minutes of adjustments I had it set up exactly how I wanted it. The pros: Seemingly well designed and the materials feel solid. Lots of different adjustments to get a good fit for your body. I am 5'9" and 140lbs and this fit me perfectly after some adjustment period. The cons: No real cons, the product may not hold up as well as some tougher leather holsters but only time will tell. The overall: Solid product and great price point. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Adjusting the holster a bit, it will lug your pistol around just fine even if you're sprinting at full speed and then some--you could even have a pistol with a silencer in this >:D. I have run a few miles non-stop with the holster on safely, and while it is a bit loose even after tightening it as much as possible, you can't complain about the $20 price tag. If you're using this as an open carry holster, I wouldn't worry too much, I think just the sight of my S&W in this bad boy sent at least one bad guy running to the hills and gave a few onlookers a sense of security. I love it because it's the cheapest detective style holster one can buy, and man, does it look sharp on top of a good dress shirt. If you're likely to wrestle with offenders while wearing your pistol, I would look into a more sturdy and expensive holster without thinking twice. This one could easily snap in all sorts of places during a struggle which is worth noting--baby it though, and it will serve you well. It doubles as a concealed carry holster if a sweater is put on, which is good. The extra mag pouches are an EXCELLENT feature. Overall, this is a professional low cost solution to holstering a weapon that can successfully be used 'in the field' with extreme discretion derivative of those fields--you get the gest. It would make a good spare holster, or loaner holster for someone you may encounter or could be in your company whom does not have a holster. If you're tight on funds and just NEED a holster, I would go for this one before any other without hesitation.

I must say. For the price, it's worth it. But they are cheaply made and flimsy. But I could fit a heavy 1911 and adjust somewhat. Not meant for the tallest people as the attachement to belt is barely reaching as a 193cm tall guy.

Das Holster kam nach einem Tag an (Prime) und war ordentlich und kompakt verpackt. VERARBEITUNG Die Verarbeitung auf den ersten Blick ist wirklich gut. Der Stoff ist dick und die Riemen sind richtig stabil. Einzigster Minuspunkt bei der Verarbeitung sind die nicht 100% sauber vernähten Enden der Einstellriemen, und die fehlenden Verstaumöglichkeiten für die Enden der Riemen. Das ist jedoch mekkern auf höchstem Niveau. Ich hatte bereits ein Schulterholster eines anderen Herstellers und somit kann ich sagen dass es sich hierbei um ein absolutes Top Preis/ Leistungs- Verhältnis handelt. PASSGENAUIGKEIT Meine Waffe ist eine Umarex GPDA9 und es ist eine Mittelgroße Pistole. Ich habe noch einen Schalldämpfer und selbst mit montierten Schalldämpfer passt die Waffe nach vorheriger Einstellarbeit wie angegossen ist das Holster. Die Einstellung der Position und die generelle Anpassung an die Körpergröße sollte jeder hinbekommen. Das Waffenholster lässt sich nahezu beliebig umbauen und einstellen. Außen sind zwei Klettriemen mit welchen sich die Dicke des Holsters selbst einstellen lässt. Meine 9mm ist eher eine schmale Waffe uns selbst hier lässt sich die Tasche auf die engste Weite einstellen und es wackelt nichts. Gesichert wird die Waffe mit einem Klett-Druckknopfverschluss welcher an Holster aus der Bundeswehr oder der Polizei erinnert. Auch hier sitzt nach dem schließen alles Fest und die Waffe kann nicht mehr herausfallen selbst wenn man das Holster mit eingelegter Waffe auszieht und Kopfüber hält! Nach unter ist das Holster offen. Hier wurde auch mitgedacht und ein dicker herausnehmbarer Klettriemen integriert. Mit diesem lässt sich entweder der Boden des Holsters schließen oder wie in meinem Fall die Bewegungsfreiheit der Waffe einschränken indem man den Klett so anbringt dass der Lauf zwischen Riemen und Holster festgehalten wird. Somit hat insgesamt eine mittelgroße Pistole wie sie die meisten als Signal/ Gaspistole haben in diesem Holster einen sicheren und geschützten Platz. Das Holster und die Magazintaschen sind aber auch für größere Waffen ausgelegt wie man der Beschreibung des Herstellers entnehmen kann. MAGAZINTASCHEN Die beiden Magazintaschen fallen groß aus was aber bei mittleren Magazinen nicht stört, da sich die Taschen aufgrund großzügig vernähter Klettverschlüsse eng schließen lassen uns dann auch nichts wackelt oder herausfällt. Absolut geniale Taschen welche bei angelegtem Holster schön eng am Körper zwischen Achsel und Hüfte liegen und bei keiner Bewegung stören. Die Taschen gehen nach unter auf und somit lässt sich das Magazin extrem schnell herausnehmen. KOMFORT Das Schulterholster lässt sich schnell an und ausziehen und sitzt aufgrund gepolsteter Riemen bequem auf dem Nacken und der Schulter. Minuspunkt sind die beiden Verbindungen zwischen Magazintaschen und Holster. Diese sind zu kurz um die beiden zu verbinden. Einen anderen Nutzen hab ich nicht herausgefunden und so habe ich sie nach oben geklettet, was insgesamt aber nicht stört. Somit hängen Tasche und Holster frei und sind horizontal nicht weiter fixiert was bei schnellen Körperdrehungen eventuell zum verrutschen führen kann. Die Position des Holters lässt sich von vertikal auf ca. 45° einstellen. Bei langen Waffen oder z.B. mit Schalldämpfer sollte die Waffe natürlich genau nach unter zeigen damit die Jacke/ Mantel keine Beule bekommt. Insgesamt würde ich das Holster für diesen Preis immer wieder bestellen. Für ein Stoff-Holster ist es starr und stabil und die Waffe lässt sich unauffällig und sicher Tragen.

Should have check the picture better prior to order... If you check properly, you will see the holster strap pass OVER the pistol / butt position....which block the draw of the pistol....had to do a modification to the holster / strap system in order to avoid the block of the pistol draw

Man darf keine Wunder für den Preis erwarten. Ein Profi Holster ist das nicht, aber um ab und zu meinen RG99 auszuführen - da für reicht es. Es ist recht gut einstellbar auf viele Revolver und Pistolen mittlere Größe. Sehr kleine oder extrem große Waffen passen nicht oder rutschten durch. Die Magazin Taschen benötige ich für den Revolver nicht und habe sie abgenommen. Natürlich kann man sie auch für Taschenlampe / Messer etc. verwenden. Wer sich über nicht sauber gekürzte Fäden aufregt, sollte sich für mindestens das dreifache des Preises ein aus Leder kaufen.
