Brine Shrimp Eggs Fish Food - 5 OZ Sea Monkey Eggs 90% Hatch Rate Premium Grade A Aquatic Foods for Young Fish Freshwater and Saltwater Fish Invertebrates The First Stages

I've started breeding shrimp and naturally you'll need brine shrimp for the little babies at some point. Got this to try and I'm using it with an airpumpless hatchery. Had it for a couple weeks now and it hasn't disappointed!I'm not 100% sure about the hatch rate because I can't tell how many of the cysts actually hatch. But for my liking, it's PLENTY! I wouldn't doubt it being 90%.I store the bag in the fridge (in the door, top shelf) and pour the cysts directly on the salty water (I use 1 Tbsp Aquarium Salt for 2 cups of water which is the amount that fills my hatchery) and they hatch within less than 24 hours. I immediately get a huge rush of them to load my babies up with and more hatch over the next couple of days. Eventually the numbers dwindle and that's when I reset the hatchery. Have had amazing success, and the babies have been EXPLODING in growth! People aren't kidding when they say fry grows a lot faster once they can eat bringe.What a fantastic thing!Can definitely recommend this. Make sure to keep it in the fridge, throw it in there asap. And from my experience, don't worry about temperature acclimating it. For me it def has worked beautifully to just toss em in the water and be done with it.

Disappointed - none hatched :/ the eggs were very powdery and all just sunk to the bottom, even with the airline in place. I'll be sticking with my usual company.

Maybe just me but hatch rate wss low. Think it was my setup. Great cheap live food!

I'm sure these were fine but my situation kept me from actually using them. I may try later with a smaller amount to learn how to use them.

UPDATE REVIEW- none hatched but the seller offered a full refund which was nice .Never had this issue and Ive tried several brands here on amazon. Severely disappointed, and so are my newly hatched angelfish.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had bad experiences with other brands and finally got a good hatch out of these and have been purchasing them since. The adults pictured were hatched from this brand and the babies are from my recent pack. Hatch rate is great imo and I’ve gotten some super fun colors as well, such as white, pink, and orange. I can always trust this brand when I have axolotl hatchlings and haven’t had to lose any while using this brand like I have in the past with other brands due to bad eggs.Tip: If the eggs bother u in the shrimpery kit as much as they bothered me then I recommend getting a small aquarium with a light, along with some instant ocean and pour and stir the eggs. When hatched, I use a suction syringe and suck them from the top. Feeding algae wafers helped me grow adults while waiting for algae growth. Fun to watch but don’t rely on the adults to reproduce enough to use if you have a large quantity of fish that need to be fed as I do.

Just a heads up this food even though the fish nibbled on it floats i even let it thoroughly hydrate in a measuring cup of salt water from the tank for 20mins stirred it well and dumped it into the tank where the entire amount floated right to the top and went straight for my overflow. Maybe it’s better for a freshwater fishbowl..
