Surprisingly great earbuds. The active noise canceling works quite well for the price range. I do recommend you also purchase the memory foam replacement cushions to maximize the noise dampening however. I fly frequently so these are my go-to for covering the common cabin noise. They have excellent sound quality and Surprisingly deep bass when you get the memory foam sealed in your ear properly. The little hook makes all the difference for keeping them in your ear while sleeping. The built in multi point microphones make having phone conversations quite nice. The software seems to do well at blanking out background noise during conversations. The battery life is excellent. They work fine for coast to coast flights. And they last all day for sleeping days while working night shifts. The app gives you the ability to program the shortcut buttons on each ear bud as well as set the operating mode and other features. Highly recommended.

Just got these. Fairly easy to pair with iOS. Fitting in my ear was really comfortable. Looking forward to seeing how comfortable and secure they stay with some compound lifts. Sound quality is outstanding considering the price point. I would recommend this to anyone at below $100 range for earbuds. If possible, I may update this review if I'm allowed to in the future.

I own a pair of Bose QuietComfort earbuds, which I absolutely love for their amazing noise-canceling feature. They completely block out airplane noise — even when I’m seated right next to the wing — and are my go-to travel companion. However, once I started working out regularly, I quickly realized that my Bose earbuds weren’t ideal for the gym. They constantly fell out during strength training, and I got tired of picking them up off the floor mid-set. So I decided to try the Powerbeats Pro, which are heavily marketed for athletes. While they did stay securely on my ears during workouts, I was disappointed by the lack of noise cancellation. Despite the claims, there was virtually no difference between the noise-canceling and transparency modes, and for the price (nearly $300!), that was a huge letdown. After doing more research, I came across the Soundcore Sport earbuds. I already use several Anker products and have been happy with their quality, so while I was initially skeptical due to the lower price point, I decided to give it a try. First off, these earbuds have their own app — something the Powerbeats Pro didn’t. The app lets you customize sound modes, adjust bass, and fine-tune audio settings to your liking. The noise-canceling feature is impressive, on par with much more expensive earbuds. I tested them while walking around my neighborhood and during peak hours at the gym. I could barely hear people grunting or chatting nearby (which is one of my biggest gym pet peeves!). They also stay perfectly in place during strength training, which was my top priority. Combined with the excellent noise cancellation, these quickly became my new favorite pair of workout earbuds. I happily returned my Powerbeats Pro the very next day. If you’re looking for comfortable, secure earbuds with real noise cancellation and great sound quality at a reasonable price, these are a fantastic choice. You get premium features without the premium price tag — truly a great value and a solid purchase.

Pretty good bang for your buck. Good sound; accompanying app is good but slightly more ambitious than it is reliable. It seems to have lost the ability to read the case/charger's charge level, but the light on the case still works for that purpose. Equalizer sometimes gets overwhelmed and won't switch settings. You get better battery life if you minimize use of app features and rely on the sound's source device for digital signal processing. Programmable control buttons is a pretty handy feature for me, but the buttons are a bit awkwardly placed. Reproduces Dolby Atmos immersive sound fairly decently. Fit in ears VERY WELL AND SNUG WITH NO COMFORT PROBLEMS. This simply cannot be overstated. Transparent and active noise canceling modes are nice. For the price, you probably can't go wrong with these.

The Soundcore products are made better by the app. The Sport X20 which I had read did not have volume controls on the earbuds themselves can be programmed by the app to have volume controlled on the earbud. So yes it does not come natively with volume control on the earbud but with the app that can be changed quite easily. Not sure what genius thought volume control wouldn't be good to control on the earbud. I mean when working out it is much easier to touch the earbud to change volume than to drag the phone out to do it. For starters let me say I have been using Soundcore P30i which is an excellent earbud but I would have them occasionally fall out at the gym so I have been on the lookout for a hook model. I tried a different brand because of high ratings and a much cheaper price. That model had virtually no noise cancellation which for me is a deal killer because I wear them at a noisy gym. So I reflected that the P30i has excellent noise cancellation and although the Soundcore Sport X20 was more than I wanted to pay at $55 I gave it a try. Let me say it is totally worth it on several levels. I have become accustomed to judging any Amazon product by the reviews when deciding what to buy. In this instance that didn't prove to be the answer. Anker and Soundcore are seriously good products and while the rating on this model was lower the actual experience for me was exactly the opposite. This Sport X20 deserves 5 stars BUT only if you use the app to achieve full potential. Most important is noise cancellation and thanks to the app you have many options. You can choose adaptive cancellation or manual cancellation and within those set the level of cancellation from weak to strong. The Soundcore app is genius. If you are going to use the Sport X20 and not bother to download the app you are wasting your time and money. The app will give you a hearing test, allow you to combine that with one of the preloaded programs or allow you to make a custom equalizer. You can turn on the 3D surround sound which transforms the earbud into a great earbud. If you don't use 3D surround sound you have not touched the capabilities. Another genius setting that can only be set within the app is to turn the Wind Noise Reduction on. It actually works well for those days you are outside and the wind is blowing. I leave it on all the time. Here is an example of how I currently have my earbud buttons set thanks to the app. LEFT single press volume down, double press previous , long press change the ambient sound i.e. noise cancellation. RIGHT single press play/pause, double press volume up, and long press next song. There are 5 programmable things for each earbud. Each earbud can actually only be programmed for 3 things. SO with 6 button choices and 5 programmable items you can program everything possible. The phone call operation is not programmable and is separate. I only have made one phone call and it was good. While I am on the button on the earbud I will say that I do like a button over a tap but at the same time this particular button is in a bit of an awkward location. I am adjusting to it, there is a learning curve. As to comfort and fit this hook model is head and shoulders above another manufacturer I had tried where the tip didn't actually go inside the ear canal. This X20 has a very soft and expandable hook and an articulating earbud so it can go inside your ear canal and that blocks out a lot of external noise. They provide you with more earbud tip sizes than the other model also. Interestingly enough I ended up with it fitting so good that it's actually a little hard to take off. At least there is zero probability that I will have one fall off. The softness and fit are so good that you truly don't realize you have them on and in. After a few hours with them in and then when they are out I find myself reaching up to touch my ear to verify that they are out. Sound quality is excellent ESPECIALLY and ONLY when programmed on the app to your hearing and what you enjoy. Most of these earbud manufacturers boast about how powerful their bass is and I'm a guy that doesn't enjoy strong bass so it's wonderful to be able, using the app, to get the EXACT sound that I enjoy. Clarity is outstanding. The white ones look very classy. Bottom line these are top of the line and the app can transform these into earbuds you will be in love with. Honestly I would give the earbuds alone a 4 star rating and with the app if I could I would give them a 6 star rating.

I have weirdly shaped ears. The popular hookless in-ear design for earbuds just doesn't work for me because they keep falling out. I was a big fan of the Soundcore X10 earbuds because a hook kept them in place. Even if the bud came out of the ear itself, the hook would keep it from falling to the pavement. The X10s served me well for 2 and a half years, but when the outer plastic shell started chipping off I felt it was time to upgrade to the X20s. I was excited to do so since the Amazon ratings were at the time a little higher and people liked the case design change (now they're about the same). In retrospect, I should have just left well enough alone. The X20s aren't bad. They sound good and seem to keep a pretty solid Bluetooth connection. But they are more expensive and, for my needs at least, not as good as the X10s they replaced. The case design is different, and I do like it. The X10s had a capsule sized case and in order to put the earbuds in you had to fold the hooks over the buds. It added another 1-3 seconds of putting the ear buds in or taking them out of the charging case. Not a huge deal but a little annoying. With the X20s the case is chicklet shaped and you can drop the buds right in or take them right out without folding or unfolding them. I also like the 'breathing' LED charging indicator. But the case redesign appears to have com at a cost, as the hooks are shorter. They're not a LOT shorter, maybe 2-3mm or so, but as a result they don't feel as confidently attached to the ear and in one ear the bud is frequently tugged out because the distance between the hook and the bud is barely long enough to span the distance between where the bud goes and where the hook goes. It may just be me. Maybe it's those weirdly shaped ears playing havoc again. Another gripe is that the hooks seem to get in the way of the button when wearing them. I don't know why this is. When I am holding the buds in my hand I can operate them easily, but when in my ear it's like the hook gets in the way and I have to try to wedge my finger around the hook to get to the buttons. I didn't have this problem with the X10s. Speaking of buttons, the button controls have changed from previous other Soundcore earbuds I've had. With the X10s (and with another pair of Soundcore V20is) a double-tap on the right bud will stop or start the music/podcast/whatever, but in the X20s a single tap starts and stops and a double tap fast forwards. For someone new to Soundcores this is no big deal, but to someone used to controls on other Soundcore ear buds it requires re-learning. How did I find out about the controls? Certainly not from the included manual. It has 32 pages in it: 1 page is dedicated to wearing the buds and 1 page is dedicated to pairing them and 28 of them are the electronics warnings in various languages. There is nothing about how to control them. You have to scan the QR code inside to go and get the online manual to figure out how to turn them on and off and fast forward and rewind and control the volume. I get that they have to include the consumer warnings in various languages, but there's one empty page and another page with the QR codes for the manual on them. They couldn't include even the basic operations instructions in there? Finally there's the battery life. Maybe I have a bad batch--I HOPE I had a bad batch--because I've gotten low battery warnings mulltiple times in the month or so that I've owned these and one of those times my left bud ran out of juice all together. And it's not like I was listening to music all day long. Each time I got the warning it was a surprise. 'Really? Already??' In the 30 months I had worn my X10s I think I had maybe 5 'low battery' warnings, and they were when I knew I'd been listening for a long time. In short these are probably fine for someone with more 'normal' ears. They sound fine and are comfortable and reasonably price. But I kinda wish I'd gotten another pair of X10s.

These are a great fit, connect easily, and sound great too! Very impressed by what you get for the price. I had some Jabra Elite 8 Actives before this but had trouble keeping them in my ear during workouts. These stay in place and were less than half the price! I also love how much smoother and faster they connect to multiple Bluetooth sources. When I’m working they’re typically connected to both my iPhone and my laptop. When a call comes in on Teams or Jabber on my laptop, the music from my iPhone automatically pauses and allows me to take the call. My previous headphones didn’t work well in these situations. Good sound cancelling. Haven’t tried them while mowing yet. The only problems I’ve experienced are that 1) they occasionally drop the connection from my laptop in the middle of a long call and 2) when taking a call on Teams sometimes the ringing continues in my headphones after I’ve answered the call. (In that case, I hear both the person on the line and the ringing for ~5-10 seconds before the ringing stops.) Not sure if the root of these problems is the laptop (& its software) or the headphones. It’s entirely possible it’s the laptop. Regardless, these issues are occasional enough that I still am happy with the purchase. Great battery life! I charge mine ~2x a week for the 2-3 hrs I use them each day. Case is secure and the headphones seat easily to charge. One final positive - I had trouble with the microphone noise cancelling on my previous headphones when taking calls in the car. In other words, people on the other end couldn’t hear me easily. I drive an older truck thats somewhat loud, but these headphones have no problem cancelling out the background noise and allowing the person on the other end to hear me. (And yes, I’ve asked them!) Overall, an excellent value. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a single pair of headphones for work, working out, and taking calls in the car.

I have been looking for new, wireless, hooked ear buds for quite some time. I noticed that there aren't many great options out there when it comes to hooked ear buds, but these ones are probably at the top of the list. They have good sound quality, although probably not audiophile level sound. They're very comfortable and never fall out of my ears, although they sometimes to slip out a little bit and I have to push them back in for a proper seal. They also go pretty loud, which I was pleasantly surprised by. One of my major needs in headphones is good ANC. Unfortunately, the ANC on these is not the best. I live in Chicago and it generally does ok, but I can hear a lot of outside noise when standing next to a busy street or if I'm sitting at the train station and the train rolls up. A quick fix for me on this is to just up the volume, but may not be great if you have sensitive ears. If ANC is something you highly value, the air pod pros are still first in their class and a much better option than these. That being said, these are not a bad value for their money. I can stand by the price of 80$ and I've seen them go on sale for as low as 63, so if you can get them at that price, they're definitely worth it!
