When House training using a crate it is important that your Puppy does not have an area in the cage large enough to use as a toilet area. Dogs do not use their sleeping area as a toilet and this is how you encourage good house training using a Dog Crate Dog Cages are not suitable for Huskies due to their anxious nature when contained and left alone.Dog Crate AdviceWe strongly Advise that if you are buying for a young Dog or Puppy that you do not buy a Dog Cage that is too big for them. The larger cages are designed for Large Adult dogs. Puppy or too smaller Dog & Puppies may be able to get themselves or paws trapped in the larger gaps due to the larger cages being designed for larger pets.

Brilliant product: Perfect for a large dog, reasonably priced & prompt delivery!
This crate was purchased ahead of my dog's surgery to repair cruciate ligament damage. He's not due to have the surgery for another couple of weeks, but as he has never been crated before, I wanted to give him time to get used to being inside the crate & sleeping in it. The crate is a perfect fit for my dog (collie/rottie mix, 30kg), he has enough room to comfortably sit, stand and stretch out. The crate arrived very promptly, and was easy to erect within minutes. I also purchased the 42" waterproof bedding, which is generously filled, and very comfortable- it will be interesting to see how well the bedding retains it's bounce, especially after it's washed, and hopefully my dog won't get bored and tear it. If you are purchasing this crate for similar reasons, I would definitely advise purchasing ahead of time, and allowing the dog to accept the crate as his area (reward him if you tell him to go there).. I would also suggest that the door is left completely open for the first few days then gradually phase in 5-10 minute periods where the door is locked, and then progress to having him locked overnight. There's nothing I can fault with this purchase- I think pricing was reasonable, delivery time was very prompt, setup was easy and there were no issues with quality. Hopefully my dog's surgery will be a success, and when he's finished with it (6-12 week recovery time), it will make a perfect enclosure for my little bantam chickens!

Great crate for Tibetan terrier
I purchased this after already trying a larger crate and also a pen which were both unsuitable. This size medium (30") crate is great for my Tibetan terrier at 7 months old. The bottom plate is metal which slides out to clean. The 2 small bowls attach to the crate but unfortunately my dog was able to unattached them! Overall good value

Sturdy Crate which needs more attention to detail
This crate is ok for what I need, but already the coating is coming off the latches (been up less than a week!) and I find the latches themselves can be tricky to open and shut, unless you line up the door precisely.Having said that it is sturdier than some others. The bands that hold the BLACK crate together are....SILVER making it look like an odd job.

Happy but a few minor issues
Like the fact its easy to assemble, bed is well paddled, comes with handle and 2 travel sized bowls. Also the metal tray is better than thought although did have a few small dents (pictured). Not to impressed that the "waterproof mattress" came with 2 small holes (pictured) so therefore isn't waterproof, the cage seems to have been painted over rusty metal which came flaked (pictured) also cage quite flimsey, however my dogs are cage trained so shouldn't be a problem. Like other cages I've had, I've put cable ties on edges just to reinforce. Seems good for money but better quality can be brought.

Great looking and functional crate
Great looking and functional crate. Used for 8 week old pup with a divider in and he settled well from the start, he's 15 weeks now. Good catches on the door. Never used the bowls in the crate or the vet bed as I'd got him a bed and that pushed in the crate with the divider made a smaller area for him, more like a cave. Will use the vet bed later in car crate

OK, but not that sturdy
One of our dogs has undergone major surgery on her leg. We needed a crate to keep her movements restricted and to stop the other dogs worrying her or knocking her leg.As we only need the crate for about 6 weeks, didn't want to spend a lot. Been using it for 3 weeks and it's doing the job.Big enough for a greyhound. For the price it's OK, but a little flimsy. Door is getting more and more difficult to line up the catches.Only got the basic crate so can't comment on the other accessories.

Will not contain a dog determined to try and escape, and may harm them
I was quite disappointed with the quality of this cage. I've got two 5 month old puppies, with size about 13kg. I got this cage as it had good reviews but it really can't be used. Both puppies don't like being caged (perhaps understandably). The bars of the cage are far enough apart that they can get their muzzles through when pulling at the door, and therefore they rub against the wire and tore the hair off one of their noses. The other puppy then managed, without too much effort, to rip the vertical wires from their connection to the frame such that they were all jagging out quite dangerously. He then managed to escape, which was fortunate as I think he'd have skewered himself if he had staid in much longer. It looks like a really nice cage, and perhaps if your dogs don't mind a cage then it is a great buy. Otherwise I would recommend taking the hit and spending the extra money to get a Croft cage.

It is fine if the dog is not determined to get out
I had one of these a few years ago for my very large GS. He was contained in it no problem. I bought this one for my three year old rescue GS bitch. She trashed it in 20 mins. Literally 20 mins. She was able to rip the bars off the welds!! To be fair to the sellers, they refunded my money as a good will gesture ( together with a slightly patronising tip on separation anxiety) but I was not overly impressed with the build quality.
