Birkenstock Arizona, Unisex Adults' Sandals

Bought these to replace a pair of Birkenstocks that were showing the effect of several years hard wear. They are EVA (plastic, if you prefer) but are a long way removed from the "beach shoe" product that you might imagine. They are very light (I really thought the package was empty) but have all the comfort and features that I expect from Birkenstock. I am very happy with my purchase - don't be put off by the EVA label.

Great sandals, especially if you want to take them into water, like if you're at the beach or, like me, near a loch in Scotland that is nice to go swimming in during summer. They will protect your feet from rocks and objects on the river bed that could hurt or damage your feet and dry super quick. Only downside is they are made of some kind of rubber, which means they are waterproof, but it may cause chaffing if they don't fit properly.

Not as utilitarian as croc and are as comfortable as traditional birkenstocks. Works well around water and have so far resisted any staining or the like from au creams, sea salt and other holiday substances.What’s stands out for me is there just work, having purchase cheap alternativ brands previously they make various marks on my feet.

These are brilliant for when strolling along the beech and water's edge. The tide can cover them completely and you can rinse the sand off without them deteriorating the way my on land Birkenstocks would if subjected to such treatment.

I love Birkenstocks but I ruin them when the grass is wet, these seem like a good solution. They're a bit ugly, and I could only get them in a 7 which is a bit big (I'm generally a 6.5 but I can wear a 6 in Birks) but they will be practical and I'll probably wear them round the house with sock in the winter!

EVA means it's plastic so it doesn't have the normal cork base or leather straps. Fits well and comfy and can walk on it immediately, whereas the 'normal one' has to be worn in. Looks just like the original one, except it is all black. Good value for price.

Probably my fault, but didn't realise but worth noting thee shoes look like they've been made from a mould,Always swear by Birkenstocks, these are still brilliant,

Great product and just what we needed for my husband. He has to have his shoes surgically made up and they could do it, so will be ordering more when needed.
