Don't waste your time for brassica.
Started ripping the moment it came out the packet. As soon as we attached clips to fasten to the frame it made holes. We've just planted 30 brassica at the allotment and this mesh is already full of holes for the butterflies to get through. We've had to attach it as best we can to the frame to keep the pigeons off in the short term and have now ordered a different mesh that we will need to spend time refitting. Not great.

Good Value Netting
This is very fine mesh netting, and perfect for veg and fruit growers who are wanting to keep birds and insects away from their crop. I recommend draping it over fairly closely spaced framing because it can sag a bit, and you're best avoiding sharp edges that can cut into the mesh. I use stainless spring clips to hold mine down, and they work well, plus it makes access easy for weeding and harvesting. This mesh is white, which stands out a bit more, visibly, and it also tends to go green after a year or two. If you want a mesh that is less noticeable I recommend you go for dark green or black instead. The mesh is very fine, but it still allows rain and plenty of sunlight through. Remember that it might not be suitable for you if your plants need pollinating in order to fruit. At under £20 I think this is good value, and worthy of 5 stars.

Good size fine mesh
This mesh comes in appropriate sizes for vegetable gardens and the mesh is very fine meaning it should protect your produce from a range of small pests. Seems to be fairly durable. Might not stand the test of time but will certainly get some good use of it.

- Review for Garden Netting - 3 x 15m, Insect Netting for Veg Patch Fine Mesh, Raised Bed Plant Covers Netting, Greenhouse Tunnel Screen Barrier Net Protect Vegetable Fruits Flower From Insect Pests Birds || Price: £23.99 (at time of ordering) -This very fine mesh netting is excellent quality and small enough to keep out the bugs, while still letting through plenty of light and water. It's very strong and you get loads of it for a good price. My strawberry plants were eaten alive last year, and I had little white bugs all over my hanging baskets. I was worried that covering them up would change my garden aesthetic, kind of defeating the purpose, but they don't look nearly as bad as I feared! And most importantly, it really works to keep those bugs off. Highly recommended.

Fine mesh
The description says 3 x 15 Metre lengths, in reality I received a single 10 by 50 foot net (about 3x15.2 metres), so slightly bigger. The netting appears to be good quality, made of polyethylene (so should not rot) and is a fine mesh, so should provide a good barrier. Last year I planted a whole lot of curly kale, it started off well but then in a couple of days the whole crop was decimated, eaten by hundreds of catapillers, to the extend that there was nothing left to salvage. Now that I'm armed with this netting the crop and other crops will be protected so I should get to eat what I grow.I recommend the use of the netting, but to use it to it's best you probably need something to support the netting, e.g. wire arches and ground pegs to hold down the edges or something. For me I will make a few wooden frames and cover the top and sides with this material stapling it to the wood.

Good Netting
Good netting, nice fine mesh. Difficult to state if the size is accurate but does seem accurate. Does also feel very strong.Looking to enclose a wooden structure in a field for growing vegetables, this is a great start towards stopping pests that have intent on eating all my hard work / crop. Will be looking towards ideas with securing the mesh to avoid it ripping. At the time of this review, retailing for £22.99 delivered, which to me seems a little expensive. Obviously always a challenge to compare as the quality of such items can differ. The price and quality to me seem good.5/5
