Solid build and easy set up
This house is well made and seems like it will hold up well. The camera was easy to sync with my phone, and it connected to the app easily. It comes with everything you need for multiple mounting options. We used one of the longer screws to mount it in a shaded area on our cypress tree.I really like this house and can’t wait to watch the baby birds hatch and grow up. However, there are a couple of things that you should know before you purchase. First off, the camera does not come with a battery or solar panel so it has to be near a power source and plugged in to operate. The other downside for me is that it used the Tris app, and you have to pay for a cloud subscription or use a memory card in order to save or view any videos. I have a couple of feeder cameras that use a different app where you don’t have to pay additional fees to view the videos, so that was a little disappointing to me.Overall, I am happy with this house and am looking forward to watching baby birds. However, I am not happy about the cost of the cloud services so I have deducted a star for that.

Fun Idea!
This is a nice birdhouse. It's very similar to a couple of other ones that we have that are inhabited by bluebirds. The addition of the camera is a fun idea! The system works, however, the camera has to be plugged in to do so. We keep our other bird houses in the back of the yard where they get privacy. Unless we run a long cable, we have to keep this closer to the house for it to power. We have had this on the deck for a few weeks now and there have been no visitors. We're guessing because it's so close to the house. The camera itself is very similar in design to the Wyze camera, which we happen to own several of.
