My first purchase for something to reduce swelling and cool the face was one of those blue gel filled masks absolutely useless doesn’t keep cool for very long and the top split leaving thick blue gel all in my hair. So I went for these I filled them with ice cubes and some water and kept them in the freezer until solid. They are brilliant the material is really good so it doesn’t give you ice burns when you apply to the face and that’s as soon as I get it out the freezer I use one and keep one chilling and they keep soooo cool for ages this way and I haven’t had any problems with leakage either. I purchased these after having a lower face and neck lift to try to help with the swelling and they are helping . Really great product to keep in the freezer for headaches.sprains, swelling or now we have the hot weather to keep cool can’t rate these high enough.

I ordered as a 'just in case needed' which was subsequently needed a few days after arrival. The product is easy to use, well made and easy to maintain. Like many people, I used ice in a bag wrapped in a tea towel or something similar. Nice now to have no leaks and can use for longer. Has been particularly useful in the recent hot weather. I will be purchasing a secondary one (smaller) for holidays.

It doesn't leak at all! I used to it to help with bruising on my face and it did its job perfectly! The cold did make it a little moist though but there was no water leakage whatsoever- just a wet to touch kind of feel. To be fair, I used it 12 hours a day for 7days, so it was bound to get a little wet at least. It was completely dry for the first few days. Now that i think about it, i might have gotten it wet while changing the water. So it may have been my fault. I literally tossed it around and just mishandled it quite a bit- it didn't rip or break. The hearts are very cute too. It stayed cold for quite a long time. I put ice in it only once a day and it lasted the whole day. So I replaced the water with ice only once a day.I haven't tried hot water. i would NEVER recommend putting boiling hot water in anything. If the bag pops or there's a leak, boiling hot water on skin- bad idea! Don't risk it. Warm water is fine, i guess :)

I use these ice packs all the time on holidays. I use when suffering migraine. Use if bitten by a mozzie, to numb the bite and help with the itchiness. For swollen aching muscles. If I just feel too hot, on back of my neck. I would not travel with at least two of these ice packs, one in hand luggage (have used on aeroplane when felt grotty, cabin crew gladly provided ice for me).. also pack one in main luggage.. just in case one gets lost (which happened once and was awful being without one)

Really handy item to have in your cupboard if you suffer with headaches or play sport and get minor injuries.It's just big enough for areas like elbow, knee and forehead which is perfect.The seal on it is brilliant and I can confirm I've had absolutely zero leakage even when it's just been full of water and left upside down at the end of my bed!I really like the cute lime pattern too.A+ item

I filled this up with ice and loved it.5 stars. It was nice and cooling. I went for a walk, about an hour. I left it on my bed.I came back and my bed was wet. Still wanting to keep it I did a test. Got 2 sheets of toilet paper and put the dried ice pack on top. 10 minutes and the toilet got wet and fell apart.Don't leave it on surfaces. Beds, wooden flooring and carpet. It will get wet.Very cooling, great short term use.

Smaller than expected but still does the job. Been suffering from a frozen shoulder last few months and had been using heated wheat bag, but this last week it has been much too hot forcthat.Saw this, bought itcand it arrived today (Aug 13). Have already filled it with ice and water twice and is really good!Very cold, but bearable on bare shoulder, and has definitely helped ease the pain.Might get a bigger one as well - I recommend it

really happy shopper once again, bought for my mum who's having a few aches and pains in her shoulder. She's tried and tested it and said it is really good and does the job much better than the icepack block she has been using, she said because this item isn't solid you can rest it on your shoulder and it forms its own shape around the shoulder and gave her much more relief than her other ice pack
