A Healthy Gourmet Fresh Nuts Assortment will be a gift that is something that will be welcomed for any nut loving occasion. It comes with 6 different varieties all are in zip lock bags and come unshelled except the pistachios that are natural-no red dye here. If any are salted, it is very light. I roasted mine and added a touch more salt which bumped the flavor a touch. None of mine were broken, bitter.The box they come in isn't anything special, don't get me wrong, it's not cardboard, but it isn't all wood either. The nuts fit in their own compartment, and after the nuts are long gone. It would be a good idea to for sweeteners, different teas, some craft little do dads.I'm all about buying things made in the USA, as well as supporting small businesses-this hits both. I recommend these nuts, they are a decent value, they would make a nice gift-and you are keeping money here in the states and helping a small business.

I’m not normally a fan of unsalted nuts of any kind. With the exception of the pistachios, the rest of this kit is unsalted. Even so, each one tastes great! I’m actually impressed with how good these are.The pistachios were the first to go, followed shortly thereafter by the cashews. Out of the 2 full bags we consumed (and pieces from each other bag), I didn’t get ANY bitter nuts! Each one was roasted perfectly. Adding a bit of salt and re-roasting them in the air fryer made them near-perfect!The box it comes in is okay. It isn’t very sturdy, and can pull apart easily. It still looks nice, although it seems the bags are stuffed into each compartment. After taking one out, it’s nearly impossible to get them back in and close the lid. This is actually a testament to how many nuts you get in each bag, though, so it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Overall, I can definitely recommend this kit!

These mixed nuts come in a very cool box, which could be used to hold the nuts. I just dumped all the nuts into a ziplock bag, and my wife took the box to hold her tea bags =D The box itself is not really made of wood; it's somewhere between cardboard and particle board with a nice woodgrain design on top. It makes for a nice presentation, especially if you wanted to bring this to a party or church gathering.The nuts themselves taste excellent. They are very fresh and perfectly roasted. They do not taste salted to me, but I see they have a little sodium, so I'm guessing that is naturally in the nuts. They taste so good, that I'm starting to think I may prefer unsalted nuts. You can really taste the flavors well. My only complaint is that I don't like shelling my own pistachios, so I gave those to my wife =D 5 stars!

This gift box contained six varieties of nuts packed in separate bags within the divided sections of the wooden gift box/lidded tray. The box appeared a bit fragile, as it arrived with some scratches and some of the internal dividing sections were broken. This may have been because the packaged nuts were a bit too much for the space they were packed into (the box was too full to close). The thin wood box is made up of separate interlocking pieces which aren't secured together very well, but do look nice when not broken. The contents tasted fresh, due to being individually sealed. This would have been an excellent gift box if not for the overfilling breaking the inside of the wooden box.

The beautiful wooden gift box that stores a gourmet assortment of fresh nuts is reusable, and that’s already a PLUS. Extra points for this seller for making it recyclable or repurpose-able! Certainly, this assortment is perfect for corporate gift giving, with six different kinds (and generous portion) of nuts (each of which is one of my favorites). This assortment includes: almonds, walnuts, pistachios (in the shell), cashews, pecans and hazelnuts. I rarely see shelled hazelnuts included in great nut assortments, and they make this package special.There is salt on some of the nuts (but not all), but who can resist a nicely-salted cashew? They are NOT overly salted but if you eat a few of each you will get thirsty. I did get thirsty - FOR MORE NUTS!And that wooden box? It makes a great tea bag storage, or hiding place for office supplies. You just have to get through all those savory nuts!
