got two of these kits
I got two of these kits and outside of the sprocket you connect the other end of the chain to all you need is a battery and some imagination. I got everything they said and in great shape really surprised what all you get for the money!

Did not come as describe very disappointed
All I received in my package was a electric motor and a speed control box nothing else that was listed and I can’t get ahold of anyone to fix the problem

Seems legit
Using it on my mini electric kart.Hitting 26 mph with 9 tooth front and 56 tooth rear.Definitely can't use the f/n/r switch since there is no connection for it.

No instructions or wiring diagram included
Bought the kit to upgrade a razor mx650. I understand the components and how to install the major parts. The problem is the lack of wiring labels. I’m not looking to spend three days to hook the motor and battery up then spend time trying to figure out what goes where. Definitely don’t want to short out my battery because the wires aren’t labeled. The included wiring harness just makes the issue worse as the plugs are different going in as coming out. If the wire color bundles matched it might be helpful but they couldn’t even do that correctly. I’d rather spend more and buy the parts separately to use with a motor/controller that came properly marked.

looks quality
Box that it came in was well abused and the bubble wrapping looked liked it had servered its purpose and died a good death. The contents were all safe and arrived 2 days ahead of schedule! thank you. my only question would be the reverse switch that comes with it. does it go in line in the phase wires and then it switches the polairty for the forward and reverse operations? nothing in the kit explains this but the harness is good for a light and turn signal kit at 48v looks like so if you have variable voltage lights you're good to go no need for a buck converter or running a seperate harness

Everything came, instructions a bit unclear but it works

Looks good, ZERO support!
First, this product looks great but that does not make it work as it should!Second, the diagram that came with the motor is very small so there is a lot of the printing that is not legible!Third, there is a lot of wires in the harness that do not have the correct color codes according to what little I can make out on the blurred diagram!Forth, the labels on the motor makes no sense and the diagram does not tell you what those ports do or how they hook up!Fifth, there is a really neat looking forward and reverse switch, DPDT, again the diagram does not show how to hook it up, the harness has one pair of wires called reverse but again, no instructions as to how it hooks up.So far, after three days after contacting their "support" department and then trying Amazon's support it seems to be a lost cause!Again, I contacted the on-line Vevor support on the phone and online with little support! All they say is, we can refund your money and return the product!!! It took a while to find something that would work in the application I have, this was the only one that looked like it would work.I would really like to get this thing working, the project should be a interesting boat for the kids.
