Only works as a tiny espresso
It becomes very weak with anything more than a shot of water, lungo on its smallest setting just about works. There are more flavourful pods than these.

Good value for money and for the environment
Much cheaper to make lattes at home.

Environmentally friendly
This coffee tastes great (although I’ll admit I’m not a coffee connoisseur). The main reason I got it is that it is environmentally friendly. I love that I can just put the pods in my compost bin and they also do not use any plastic in the packaging (including the delivery materials) which gets a big thumbs up from me.

Is it just me...?
I spent a long time looking for compostible Nespresso compatible pots, and finally decided to try these. Had a surprise on first use when essentially only slight coloured hot water came through... investigated and found the pot had only punctured (3 prongs) at the back and not at the front. Have tried three more times with other pots and got the same, no puncturing at the front. So now I put several holes in the 'cap' before putting in the machine. Coffee tastes fine... but not quite how I expected the make a cuppa.

They function exactly like the original Nespresso pods
I am delighted with these coffee pods. I have used some other biodegradable ones but these are much better. The coffee in not too strong which suits my taste but the flavour is great. With other replacement pods, rather then the original Nespresso ones, there is always a dribble of water before the coffee starts to flow and some stick in the machine. These work exactly like the original ones.

Nice idea but design (and coffee) not quite there
Whilst I liked the idea of pods you can just put in your compost bin, these pods just don't quite cut it. The coffee flavour is not great and wouldn't compete with others. Sadly the pods too aren't quite there as they shed coffee grounds into the Nespresso machine and coffee - there doesn't seem to be an effective filter in the pod. It's back to recyclable aluminium for me, scooping out the coffee grounds with a spoon and putting those in the compost. More messy and effort and a bit less convenient but better coffee, no residue in the coffee/machine and cheaper too.Nice idea, just not quite there.

Better and smoother than Nespresso
Pleasant taste. I only tried Waitrose, Grind and Nespresso capsules, and prefer Eden project to those above.

Did not receive
Did not receive but swiftly contacted by company and refunded.I bought this after a colleague bought the same pack for our little coffee machine at work so I can still comment that this is very decent coffee at a decent price. To be honest I couldn’t tell that much difference between the flavours personally but to me that’s a plus because I’m not much of a fan of strongly flavoured coffee- and all 3 of these are nice
