LIORQUE Digital Kitchen Timer Magnetic Countdown with Loud Alarm and Large LCD Display, Digital Timer Clock 99 Hour for Cooking & Kids & Teachers

I brought this because our new oven is way too quiet to hear and I've not yet found how to turn the beep up. I had brought a similar priced item from a well known supermarket's middle aisle that was not a patch on this excellent timer. It's clearly been designed by somebody that actually uses these things on a regular bases. The display is large and clear The buttons are solid, round and recessed for finger tips except the start / stop which is larger and a different colour. Setting a time is easy with the different increment buttons (no silly plus / minus) and you can quickly reset. It sticks to a fridge, cooker front, extract fan (if metal) or will stand on a counter. The volume on high is loud enough for my bad hearing to hear from a different room or over the top of other kitchen noises. It feels really well made and it doesn't fall off if you close the fridge door a little too hard. All in all an absolute gem of a device, that allows you to quickly and easily set a countdown for boiled eggs to turning the roast potatoes this Christmas. It would be perfect for many, many other uses and despite having it only a few days, is in regular use. It easily takes five stars but I would make two suggestions: 1. Because of the thickness of the magnet, the bottom half the the device sits slightly off the surface. When you press the lower buttons, it rocks. I fixed this with a few layers of electrical tape just covering the battery compartment cover so the whole device sits flush with the fridge. It could probably do with a magnet on the lower half as well. 2. The second suggestion would be to offer it with a lit screen. It's large and clear in the light, but in the darker evenings, you have to have the kitchen light on to see it unlike the cooker timer.

By far the best gadget I've bought for years. Well made, simple controls easily used with one hand. I use it for timing exercises. You can customise a button to make your own interval a single press. Works as a stop watch or an interval timer. Magnetic back makes it handy to store.

Quite a nice timer. Does the job well and has a reasonable volume. Easy to set up with options for quicker inputs. Once the timer is running wait for the the final minute and it gives a single 'beep'. Magnetic so has been stuck to our microwave but it also has a pull out stand. Quite chunky and the display is easy to read.

Very nice timer. Easy to use, nice big screen with clear digits - perfect. And the little stand is great too. I use it at work, on my desk. 5 stars.

My wife loves this timer as it is quick and simple to use and she says it is the best one she's ever used. It was conveniently magnetised to the cooker hood when she accidentally knocked it off while dusting. It hit the tile floor and the display went funny and a couple of the buttons stopped working. I ordered her a new one for next day delivery, and she was pleased. Great timer, but don't drop it from heights.

Bought two of these last year, both have failed with unresponsive buttons and to the bin they go. Did I mention that I am NOT happy about it? Out of curiousity, I stripped one down to see if the circuitry was as cheap and nasty as I expected given the short-lived performance. I was quite surprised as the build and component quality of the circuit board was pretty impressive. However, that counts for nothing if the units do not work and I can see from the barrage of negative comments from other purchasers that I am not alone. Off to the dustbin with them both!

De timer kan gebruikt worden als digitale klok en als timer, met 1 druk op de knop schakel je hem om. Hij is gemakkelijk in gebruik om de teller te laten aflopen dmv de knopjes zodat je niet eeuwig hoeft te drukken. De laatstingestelde afteller blijft staan voor snel gebruik, of je kan hem makkelijk resetten en een nieuwe tijd zetten. De magneet is erg groot en heb er geen twijfel aan dat hij stevig aan de koelkast hangt. Eraf halen om mee te nemen naar de woonkamer doe ik ook wel eens. Als de teller is afgelopen dan begint hij met optellen zodat je weet hoe lang geleden hij klaar was (totdat je de hem stopzet natuurlijk). Wat persoonlijk voor mij belangrijk is, is de volumeknop. Ik kan niet goed tegen harde geluiden en de middelste stand is voor mij perfect (standen zijn stil,middel,hard).

T this is the best tea timer I could find, but it is not quite perfect. I like how I can adjust the volume (no annoyingly loud beeps while setting) and the Minute, 5 minute, 1 second buttons. Easy to set, reset, use. Where I say it is almost perfect is that it does not have a 15 or 30 second button. Having to press (or hold down) the 1 second button makes no sense. A 15 (and a 30) second button would solve this issue. But, better to have a second option rather than none. Great magnet on the back. Sticks to my fridge and doesn't slide. If you are looking for a tea timer, I recommend this one.

Lo compré pensando en usarlo para marcar tiempos de estudio y me está resultando muy práctico. Tiene botones rápidos para poner 1 hora, 5 minutos, etc, así que no tienes que estar pulsando mil veces para ajustar el tiempo, con un par de toques lo tienes listo. La pantalla es grande, se ve bien incluso desde lejos y no hay que forzar la vista. Me gusta que tenga varios niveles de volumen, cuando estoy en la biblioteca lo pongo en silencio y solo miro la pantalla, y en casa lo uso con el volumen fuerte para no despistarme. Además el imán que trae detrás viene muy bien, lo dejo pegado en la nevera cuando lo uso en la cocina y así no estorba. Es ligero, sencillo de manejar y parece robusto, de momento ningún problema. Por el precio que tiene me parece un temporizador muy completo… recomendable tanto para estudiar como para cocinar.
