Tomo-chan Is a Girl! - The Complete Season

Fantastic Anime
I loved this anime, Tomo-Chan reminds me of someone I know who is also shy. The Voice Actors and Actresses chosen were great and suit the characters very well especially Tomo and Misuzu. The ending was great but I do wish Tomo and Jun had accepted each other's feelings sooner but the ending made it worth the wait. I'm not a big fan of romance stories but this was great and it was unique considering how extremely rare it is to find a story where a short haired girl is inlove with a Guy. There is a misconception with short haired women in life and their representation in a lot of stories. So many stories have it differently which is fine but, it is nice to finally see a story where a very masculine girl finds love in a guy since most have them inlove with another girl which again isn't an issue but if you want representation and creativity, you have to accept that we need stories like this that challenge the norm(even though not all short haired women are lesbian). It is a common trope and trait so seeing someone give representation for short haired heterosexual women was a nice change. As I said, there isn't a problem with bisexual or lesbian masculine women but we need representation and fairness for everything. Challenge the norm, it brings more creativity and originality. If you want to give representation to people or an idea, be fair and give it for others as well such as Tomo and masculine people like her.

Tomboy Wants to Escape the Friendzone
This product comes with 2 Blu Ray discs and 2 DVDs, containing 13 episodes. Available in dubbed and subbed. Subbed in English.I recommend to any anime consumer to purchase a physical copy of any and all anime franchises you enjoy. All western anime distributors deal with limited-licensing issues which makes future access to any one particular anime via digital media, problematic.Legends speak of a type a girl, known simply as Tomboys that roam the social realms in search of male comradery. Rather than bask in various methods of multi-layered face-paint or gossipmongering with their fellow girlies, they enjoy masculine activities and environments that only groups of males can offer.Yet, there are drawbacks for a toyboy, especially when she is crushing hard on her guy. There is no escaping the friendzone! Yet our tomboyish heroine, Tomo is daring to do exactly that. She has her work cut out for her since feminine charm eludes someone who regularly resorts to fistfights with others. Her boyish demeanor isn’t doing her any favors with her crush, or is it? Tomo is resorting to all sorts of behavioral experimentations and girlish advice to escape her friendzone status. Poor girl can’t catch a break and her crush is endlessly confused by his best girl bud’s erratic behaviors. This charming anime puts a fun spin on the joys and pains of a toyboy’s romance. Fun times! Sally Amaki voice acts for both the dubbed and subbed. She plays the roles in both languages perfectly. Fantastic work on her portrayal of this Carol character on both ends. She knows how to play as a cute character.

Awesome
Saw this on Crunchyroll when it came out and I loved it. So when I saw it available to buy and own I pounced on it. Great anime and funny. I liked seeing the internal struggle with the characters and showing their growth was cool.

One of my favorite Rom-Coms
First, the package and the extras are great fun. I like the LE extras a lot. The art book is great. The show itself is one of my favorites, the tomboy trying to communicate with the childhood friend that is afraid of changing their relationship.
