Love, love, love these pants. They're light weight, comfortable, and have useful pockets.* They're a full POUND lighter than my regular pants, so with two pair in my pack and wearing the third pair, it saves me THREE pounds on the trail.They also dry extremely quickly. Was caught in a hail/rain downpour at 11,500 feet and got soaked. Once the weather cleared, they were totally dry after about 20 minutes more hiking. Pitched camp in some wet grass, and they got wet again from the knee down. Sitting at the end of my tent, they were totally dry by morning. My socks...not so much. :)I love that the belt is light weight and low profile. To save even more weight on the trail, I'll leave two of the three belts home and just swap each time I change clothes.Really great pants...*I actually hiked with my Canon EF 70-200 F4L IS USM lens in one of the front pockets (for 10 miles). Was way easier than stowing it in my pack and having to fetch it every time I wanted to switch from my 16-35mm. Totally worked, and I'd do it that way again.

Nice pants, great for Scouts!

These worked great while they lasted. Light weight. great for week-long backpacking trip through the sierras. but a hole ripped into the bum cheek, I think just from sitting on rough rocks while stopping along the trail.

These pants easily convert into shorts which is very convenient. Winters in California are warm during day when sun shines and cool after sunset and these pants are ideal since during day I wear them as shorts and in the evening as pants. The are lightweight and seem durable. The only thing is that they get dirty easily - I believe this is because of the light color, which is why I've ordered same pants in dark gray. Recommended!

The pants are really baggy compared to the picture provided.

My husband is very happy with this purchase. The fit is perfect, as is the color and styling. He can also unzip them at the knees when he needs shorts!

Bought for boy scouts. Color is spot on. Extremely comfortable. Awesomely light for backpacking. I bought two so I only have to bring one pair of the pant legs hiking and I have two shorts to work with and long pants when needed. They dry fast and are both relatively warm and cool. Have worn them in 40 degree weather and was not cold. Have worn them in 76 degree weather and was not hot. Expect them to serve me well for a long time.NOTE: I also have an older pair of silver ridge pants. These seem to be a newer model, with a better / different fabric. I have not tried if the pant legs are compatible between the older and newer models.
