Liposomal gives extra absorbency
I am one of those folks who heeded the educator's advice and take supplements regularly. The problem is that some of those cheap brands do not absorb into your system very well. I like this Zinc supplement from Kal for its absorbency. I actually threw away a bottle of zinc i had in my cabinet after reading about the benefits of this liposomal version of zinc. If your goal in taking supplements is for better health, it certainly is important to be educated on what you are taking. Interesting I saw some reviews on here that some people are only taking zinc seasonally. Zinc and D3 are needed together at the same time, if you know you need more perhaps lower the dosage in the summer assuming you are getting out in the sun more. But if using sunscreen and covering it up with clothes so you don't get sunburned, are you really getting enough D3? For me I don't think so, thus I switched to this brand of zinc and continue with the d3 supplements at least every other day. 5 star for this product, although the retail price is a bit steep.

Not Many in a Bottle But Seem To Work
SIZE These are pretty average in size. They work well. DIGESTION I had no issues with digestion taking these. DO THEY HELP? I take these when I need a boost in immunity. They seem to work all right. I tend to like my zinc complex little better, but these are okay. BOTTLE I tend to like larger quantities of supplements so I don't have to rebuild constantly. This only has a 30 day supply. THE BOTTOM LINE These seem to work, but you don't get many in a bottle. MY RATING FOUR STARS. I like these but there are not many in a bottle. I probably won't repurchase.

Comical how much they actually put in these bottles. They do it will all their vitamins as well.

Good Zinc, Pricey
I'm pretty happy with this Kal zinc. One of the main plusses with this supplement is that it comes in moderate sized capsule form instead of pills. If you have any issues swallowing supplements, capsules go down easier than traditional pills. These also have discernible odor and I've had no adverse aftertaste or digestive effects. On the other hand, this is a pretty pricey option compared to the competition, especially considering the daily dosage of 30mg. You'll find other liposomal zinc supplements that provide a 50mg daily dose at a lower cost. Overall, this is a good quality and easy to take zinc but one that comes at a bit of a premium.

Please do your research and seek professional advice
I don't have any instruments for measuring purity or absorption rates - so my comments are about the pills themselves - there was no notable flavor or odors. I found the pills easy to ingest. The safety seals were intact when delivered. The price seems to have gone about around $4.50 since the time I ordered. So do your own price/value equation as you shop. The Whole Foods version of zinc includes copper supplementation. I have read that the body needs both compounds, and that these two (zinc and copper) tend to play against each other. So please do your own research on what considerations and supplementation might help you maintain health and avoid imbalance. The same would go with the duration of supplementation (how long you plan to take this).

Immune Booster
As a senior, I know that my zinc levels are decreasing and in need of supplementing. Zinc deficiency may lead to immune system decline and increased inflammation that can result in many health problems. This supplement uses the liposomal technology which creates a protective structure around the zinc so that it can travel to the small intestine before being absorbed in the body. These capsules are easy to swallow with no after taste. This supplement has been produced in a GMP certified facility and has been lab verified. KAL has many highly rated supplements and these should be good as well.

Its liposomal which i really like
I've been taking the KAL Liposomal Zinc capsules, 30mg each, for a bit now. They're vegan and free from gluten and soy. The bottle says it's got enhanced absorption, thanks to the liposomal feature, which sounds good for getting the most out of the zinc. They're easy to take, no weird reactions, and since they're from KAL, I feel pretty good about the quality. It's supposed to help with immune support and cell stuff, and while I can't say I've noticed anything crazy, I'm all for keeping my immune system in check. If you're looking to up your zinc, these could be a solid pick.
