Very impressed with this recorder.First impression on opening the box is that this is a very sturdy piece of kit that comes with a charging cable and headphones (I have not used these). It is suprisingly small and compact and easy to slip into your bag or a jacket pocket.It is simple to use and functional.It has a huge amount of storage space/battery life which means you can record 180 hours of good quality content on a single charge - but up to 580 hours of lower quality (which is acceptable for recording yourself in a low noise environment). Playback can be through the small speaker (which is surprisingly good) or headphones.I've not used anywhere near 180 hours yet, but if you are recording say a conference or lectures you could capture up to a months worth - on a single charge! If you really need to, storage can be further expanded using a micro SD slot (with a 32GB card you could store about a years worth of recordings, based on a 40 hour week, that's crazy). But then you might not just want to store just voice recordings - you might want to put MP3 music on it (hence the headphones).Rcording time alone makes it a very attractive device, however, being voice activated means that its its only recording when it needs to and so uses even less battery. Very pleased with this. A really good voice activated recorder.

This is a great compact voice recorder which is really easy to use and records clear, quality recordings. It contains a nice simple instruction book which was easy to follow and I was able to work out the functions and the buttons in no time. Like other voice recorders, it will pick up some background noise but the voice recording is clear and sharp and the downloading of the recorded files is straightforward. It also has a nice MP3 player built in. Overall, this is a great product, at a great price and I would highly recommend it.

As it says on the tin...... used for two meetings. Nice and clear, saved missing points at the meeting and very easy to complete the meeting minutes later. Nice and small so fitted in my pocket without being bulky. Being that it is so small, would of been nice to have a small bag to ensure it did not get scratched when not being used.

I am very pleased with this and think i got more than my spend. Its so compact but feels very robust. The sound quality is better and clearer than i imagined, it turns up loud without distorting too! I expect it will work perfectly to record the part i want to learn at choir. I began by reading the instuctions but after understanding the basic controls it was very intuative so didnt really need them. The only thing i couldnt find how to do with the instructions or figure it out myself was how to turn off playback loop. I asked on here and the seller replied within a day.The only downside is that the record button is hard for me to slide on and off. My partner can do it fine so i think its my longer thumb nails.

Size of unit was reasonable but replay quality was v. Poor on both dictaphone & music. Disappointing. It was bought for someone suffering with Dementia & would have been ideal if not for sound quality

This is a really awesome little piece of kit. I took it into a meeting where much important information would be discussed. Having not had the chance to test it out beforehand, I did not know just how precise and clear it was. Sadly, because "evidence" was being presented, thus MUCH paper shuffling, some of the paper shuffling over-rode the voices. that is no fault of the recorder and I will know for future and hopefully my review will guide others who need NOT to miss important discussion. This may be small, but, extremely powerful and clear. Easy to operate and I am NOT a technical person AT ALL! I must also advise that customer support from this company is marvelous. Any questions and they are straight back to you, no matter how many times you may ask the same question (which I have) as I also bought their other recorders **separate reviews**. I honestly cannot praise the recorder and customer support enough.(GREAT WARRANTY on all products as well!)PLEASE seriously take note of how precise this little recorder is and place it accordingly so as not to miss important information, it literally picks up a pin drop.

Bought this voice recorder to help me make notes for a course I'm doing on digital design. After using it today for the first time I was really impressed!The lectures voice was clear and it was easy to follow him and find the recording thanks to the illuminated LCD display.I also used it for my piano lesson and was pleased with the sound quality.The recorder looked plastic but I was pleasantly surprised to find that is indeed metal and feels like good quality.It came well packaged in a nice box that will stay sturdy for keeping it when not in use, the instructions are easy to follow and it even comes with a micro USB cable and earphones to listen to recordings back.I'm very impressed and will recommend this for any student!

So this Recorder ticks all the boxes but.. fails on huge ones ; when you need to fast forward or rewind it takes 6 secs per minute and you have to hold the button hard too so you imagine fast forwarding 4 hours it’s too slow plus it’s too small all other but are good battery life , screen lights up, just slow dat forward and rewind and too small for a mans hand to use .
