Easy install, perfect fit
I’m not sure why this has ANY bad reviews. Product arrived as described, is of good quality and I installed it by myself in less than 5 minutes on a 2017 Jeep Renegade.The instructions are not needed as it’s a very simple and straightforward process. Those who cited install problems have no business working on a vehicle by themselves, period.Hints: 1) Ensure the bottom plate is tucked into the piece that sits on top of the cargo rail; this is how the clamp tightens. (2). The knobs only need to be snug. If you followed hint #1 it will clamp down just fine and will not slide. If you unnecessarily over tighten the knobs, you’re going to strip them out and that’s on you. (3). You’re going to have some wind noise, and you will with any cross bars, because science.10/10 would recommend and purchase again.

Nice roof rack for the price. Sturdy and looks good!
Pretty good quality (sturdy pieces, nice finish). Took about 10 minutes to assemble and install on our 2021 Jeep Compass. Extremely easy to install (no real need to look at the instruction guide). After driving for about a week no whistling or sounds like other reviews mention. For the price this is a great deal!

It’s good.
Arrived with all parts and fits pretty well on my 2016 Jeep Compass. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s definitely not a perfect fit lol. But overall it was worth it

Hex bolts too short
I returned this, as the bolts were in no way long enough to get it installed. Pretty cheap plastic, but went together easily.

Worth the money!
I am very pleased with this roof rack. I didn't expect for it to be as sturdy as it is. It makes the car look sporty. I like the lock feature as well.

Workable in a pinch.
Not the best. Instructions were a little unclear, and the parts seem to be poorly fit. Honestly, I had to use tools to modify parts so that they fit.

Easy to install, sturdy, as advertised
Product was easy to install, and fit on my 2017 Compass as advertised. Those w/ 2017 compass issues most likely have the old-style 2017 body, not the new one they released later in the year (that this product is made for).Once everything was installed and tightened down, the product is very sturdy, and I see it getting a lot of use during the summer months here.

Who needs mopar crossbars?!
Follow the instructions people!!! These bars are highly adjustable, its real simple too! If you have an old body style compass 2017 or older...I can almost guarantee you these will work. The directional arrows with the image of a car located on the ends of the bars is what you really want to focus on, one of them says "FRONT" on it. Dont be rebellious, do what the product instructions tell you and everything will work out...so long as these were made for whatever vehicle you happen to be modifying 🤷 best of luck diy'ers
