Quicken for Windows: The Official Guide, Eighth Edition (Quicken Guide)

So mad that I didn't get this program earlier. I use a Mac, and there are not manuals - so I bought the manual for the pc hoping to get some help. This helped a bit, but the program is rather intuitive so I've been able to make the entries quite easily- it is a lot of work to set up - and one has to be very careful in how to develop your categories, but if done properly, it makes work so much easier. Love the way all the bank accounts and credit card information can be fed into the program automatically - what a time saver!!!

I like this book alot. Learned more than the basics of Quicken. Im a new user and bought this book a week after getting quicken and I am ready to use the full suite of options that quicken offers. I just wish there were more screenshots when describing certain aspects of the program. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of screenshots and illustrations but some parts dont have them when I thought they should. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone using Quicken for the 1st time

The book is well organized. So instead of going through a million little videos and FAQs where none of them answer your question the book allows you to go straight to the specific topic. The experienced user tips are useful and even though my version of Quicken is newer than the version covered by the book the information is still valid. What a time saver.

Have used Quicken for over 20 years and like to have a current manual on hand for reference. Have looked high and low for a newer Quicken manual and was unsuccessful. Found the manual on Amazon and did not hesitate to order. Have only skimmed the book since it arrived and appears to be a good reference book for Quicken for Windows.

I recently upgraded to Quicken Home, Business & Rental Property I ordered this as the description made it sound valid for that also. Unfortunately, there is nothing in it related to those aspects. In addition, when I tried to follow information on creating a Budget, it did not match up to the program. It appears to be a fairly good reference for regular Quicken but a bit dated.

While not as robost as Quick Bóoks, it's an ideal tool for small business applications with simple bookkeeping needs.

I think this book could be better organized for searching and written in simpler English. That said, it is the best available today. I miss the old "for dummies" series.

I purchased book to help after Quicken installation & it helped a lot.

Although I have used Quicken for many years (>20) this book was helpful as I got to grips with new features and ways of doing things. At this price - a no brainer.

Worth having as a resource, especially if you're new to Quicken. (used Q since 1996)

I did not have a manual before and someelse set it up and not good. The manual is easy to understand and should help greatly when I start to clean it (my file) up. Thanks

Returned, thought it contained program, nave not recieved refund

Received the the book and found it was for 2018 not 2020, a piece of information not readily found in the description. Too many years difference for the book to be useful. The book was returned.
