As a taller driver I found the arm rest in my pickup to be a little low for comfort on long drives and the window sill too high and too far out. A pillow between me and the door works well but only on long drives. I thought this product might be a good solution but there were problems. The armrest is well made, adjustable to the correct height, and worked as advertised. Unfortunately, me being of a larger girth as well as being taller, meant that in situations requiring more maneuvering such as urban traffic, my arm would hit the armrest. Since this armrest is designed to be adhered to the factory armrest unlike the pillow, that caused issues. In summary, the unit is well made but didn’t work as I hoped it would.

I will clarify…It was cleanable with my leather cleaner however I purchased a brand new item and it was clearly either used or mishandled in packaging.The armrest fits and matches my CLA250 very well. The armrest also had a slide forward option to extend its reach which is really cool.So far so goodMy pictures show how it arrived. The fact that I cleaned it and installed it. People buy this expressly to have a comfortable place to rest their elbow-it fails on this basic function.The padding is very thin and just below it all around the perimeter is a hard plastic ridge that you will feel as the padding is depressed. Designing with height adjustment was a good idea.This would not work for my application even if it was well padded. You may find that the pad needs not only to provide height above the stock elbow rest, but add some width so the rest is closer to your body. Have not seen one that provides that for the left arm.

Adhesive is great. I have a seat cushion in the driver’s seat due to a back issue. For me, the taller one worked great, but did not work well on the passenger side arm rest (too high), so I moved it to the back seat arm rest. Seems to work just fine there.
