These things are amazing - even 4 years later!
Once I fell in love with the idea of installing deck tiles for our outdoor patio space, I quickly realized that many brands would simply not stand up to the demands I would put them through. I'm a big guy, we have an active dog and we generally use our patio as an outdoor living space year-round (blessed to live in a very temperate climate). So, when I went to make our big purchase - we needed around 150 square feet - I was looking for a few things in particular. These deck tiles met my high expectations in every category. We purchased the Brazilian Ipe, and I must say, they look and feel fantastic! I wouldn't say they appear as real wood, but that wasn't the look we were going for. They don't look like cheap plastic, either - these are made to a premium quality, as far as I can tell. The pieces lock together very easily and stay together, even on our slightly off-kilter concrete patio. Once on the ground, these tiles will stay where you put them until you decide to move them... even while soaking wet. I've not worried about our safety or the safety of our dog or furniture or anything else. The under-foot traction is about what I would expect from an unfinished sheet of wood of the same size. You wouldn't slip on that, and you won't slip on these, either. The plastic on the bottom actually looks and feels more like rubber, with rubber-like qualities (seriously well built here). Water truly does flow right underneath the tiles and away from our front-sloping property. And, when they do get wet, these things dry in under an hour, even when not in direct sunlight. When small puddles are allowed to form on the top of the tiles, they do dry to reveal what looks like a water stain. But, I've solved that problem by quickly rinsing with a hose and immediately drying those areas with a towel... a simple task to keep our outdoor living space looking like new.I was able to cut through the plastic bottom grid using a hacksaw, with no problems at all. And, we're planning to cut some edging pieces with a rotary saw to fit our space perfectly... I'll update this review once we get a chance to try that. These things aren't cheap... but they're not cheaply made, either. We're completely happy with our purchase and would purchase more, if we had the space for them. To me, this is best way to comfortably transform a small-ish floor space without breaking the bank.Update:Nearly 2 years later, and these tiles are not only holding up to everyday use - they still look like new! Well, I may have put some scratches on a few tiles, but that was user error. The way I handled them would have scratched any non-concrete surface. We are beyond satisfied with our purchase, and 100% recommend these for an easy home upgrade.Update 2:4 years on and these still look and feel fantastic! Honestly have exceeded our expectations, and we expect them to last another decade or more. One of the better purchases we have made, and we receive lots of compliments from guests.

Good quality, easy to install, looks good.
I bought like 4 or 5 boxes of these (mocha stripe composite with a plastic base) to make a large patio. They connected together easily and it looks nice. They seem strong. As a note, I put these on dirt ground. I spent a good amount of time flattening out the ground and then put down pro grade weed barrier, then put the deck tiles on top of that. I don't think these tiles would look very good or work well on uneven ground.I'm hoping these come back in stock and would love to buy another box or two.

Looks good, easy to install but strong plastic smell
This product looks good and was super easy to click together. I installed it on a flat concrete surface. I wouldn't recommend installing on a non level or soft surface. I can see why others complained when installing above a soft surface. It won't hold its shape very well because its not heavy like a paver (which would be much heavier than this tile). It is more expensive that the ikea tiles but I think it's superior. Since it is made of plastic, it wont fade as easily. But the plastic also has a really strong smell. Especially when the afternoon sun hits the tiles, the plastic odor gets really strong. Also warning when you cut the tiles, it gets super messy. The plastic shavings seem to have some static properties and they just love to stick to walls/clothes/arms/etc. Overall a nice product. I also saved some money buying "used". Came in perfect condition.

Great tile solution for outdoors!
Got to say these tiles made our new roof deck project more simple. The Rock color is great, true to variations in the Grey's and the tiles fit together simply. I got all of the tile cut and laid out in 1 day. We paired some of the turf tiles in with the layout for our dog to feel more comfortable on the roof. The turf does better when anchored to a solid tile ... Not so we'll on its own, it's shifts a lot. All tile was easily cut with an electric saw as suggested. However, you'll have to remove the small screws on the back and screw the plastic mesh on the bottom to the piece that you trim as not even section is secure by screws out to the end of the tiles. So to do the edges of the roof, it took a bit more time but I love the finished product. Great solution for Do it yourself projects. Our roof deck has been setup now for about 6 weeks and there has t been any warping of the tiles. Will purchased again if needed!

Love it, but wish the sizing was accurate
This product is great!I live in a community with HOA breathing down our necks, so if I wanted to do anything it had to be non-permanent.This seemed to fit the bill really well, and I love the way it looked in the pictures that other reviewers put up.. So I committed, measured my front patio and bought accordingly. Now it came quick, and looked just as good as I had imagined it to be.. It snaps in easily, and is very easy to trim. But as I started putting it together I started to realize that it will not be enough. I had painstakingly measured and calculated the amount I would need, and double checked it some more. For some reason, it just didn't measure up (literally). I had actually ordered more than I was supposed to need.. But it came out waay too short.Luckily the turf version was on sale, and I was able to finish it up; but even then it was still less than advertised.I really, really like the way these tiles looked, and I would rate it at least a 4, but the durability has me questioning. It looked so nice at first, but it is easy to stain. My son was using his bubble wand, and of course the bubbles landed on the faux wood. When I sprayed it down and wiped, it just wouldn't come off.So 3/5 for me. It is very easy to put together, looks good new, and does its job. But the durability and sizing took down two stars for me.Would recommend it, but please be wary.

Great price and great quality
No complaints, pricing was very low compared to others, and they look great and look like real wood when looked at a glance.
