Effective Bug Zapper and Beautiful Garden Light in One!
I bought this Solar Bug Zapper Outdoor to help control the mosquitoes in my backyard, and it’s been amazing. Not only does it keep the bugs away, but it also looks great as a decorative garden light! The coverage is just right for my patio area, and I’ve noticed a huge drop in mosquito activity. The fact that it’s solar-powered is a huge plus—I just leave it outside all day, and it lasts well into the evening. If I need to, I can recharge it quickly using the USB-C cable. The automatic on/off feature is super convenient, too. I don’t have to think about it—it turns on as soon as it gets dark! The setup was effortless; I just stuck it in the ground by the pool. It's also nice to know it's eco-friendly and safe around the kids and pets. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s made outdoor evenings much more enjoyable!

Same product. More expensive.
This review is for the "Solar Bug Zapper Outdoor, Garden Mosquito Zapper Waterproof & Cordless & Rechargeable & Auto On/Off and Manual Mode,Flying Insect Zapper Mosquito Killer Lamp Mosquito Catcher for Patio Camping"I ordered this to keep the pests away from the pool/patio area. It worked as expected for moths and mosquitoes, but did nothing for the bee's. It's advertised to zap wasps too. Not so affective in my case, which was my bigger pest and reason for ordering.I had no issue charging it by solar energy and, after a month of use, have never had to actually plug it is to charge.I had to mount this because the plastic post that is provided broke at my first attempt to stick it in the ground. SC dirt consists of a lot of clay, but it had been raining and the ground was relatively soft at the time of installation. Not a huge issue, since you have another installation option, unless you absolutely needed to install it to the ground level. Minus half a star for cheaper quality of accessories. My peeve is the price tag. At the time of this review the price is $65 for one. You can shop this same site and find this exact bug zapper, same brand, for 20% less cost. Additionally, there's similar products for much less, different brand but comparable item and quality, for half the price. For this reason, I deducted a star. It's a 3.5 star, actually, but I'm rounding up to 4 since it does perform as expected, for the most part.

Get Job Done. Very Decorative
I'm not sure why some people complained that their lights did not kill bugs. After I received this item, I charged it for about 3 hours. Then set out in the garden. This morning, I found quite some bugs killed by this light. This item contains two bug lights, both powered by solar power. It also has USB-c charging port for initial charging and any future charging needs. It also comes with mounting devices, cleaning brushes and two USB-c charging cables. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the batteries. It has indicator light /red/green to show the charging level. There is also a on/off switch on the side. So you can turn on and off the entire unit. The light is not very bright. I think this is good that, it won't use a lot of battery power. So battery can keep up and won't exhausted. The light has light sensor to turn on automatically when it is dark.I'm happy to get this item. The light is very decorative in the garden. The solar is wireless and it does not use a lot of battery power. And the most important, it kills bugs. All sorts of bugs.I recommend this item.

Charges up fine, doesn't seem to attract bugs
The product worked well for me out of the box in terms of charging up quickly and turning on at night. But it just doesn't seem to attract the bugs that I'd like it to. Looks nice enough, despite the all plastic body and the electronics seem to work as intended. Perhaps it just isn't bright enough, tough to say.

Clever and useful product
This is a really clever little product, and comes with a lot of flexibility in how you can use it.I was surprised to find multiple pipes to be able to have it at different heights (you get 2, and can connect them to double the height), plus a really good length spike, so it's solidly planted in the ground. It can also be mounted to the side of a structure (like your home or decking), and comes with the hardware to do that. Based on the photos, that actually looks really good, so I may move it in the summer after learning where it's best positioned to catch sun rays and bugs. They also include a little brush to clean dead bugs off if any get stuck. There's also a USB C cable included, as you can charge/power the unit that way if the sun isn't enough. I brought it inside to charge it up initially, and could see doing this with an outdoor outlet if we were having a BBQ or party or something to be sure it was powered up. Nice option. It turns on automatically as daylight fades, but you can also turn it on manually, like if you're out during the day and it's buggy. One thing I liked is that the unit doesn't make a hum or buzz like I remember the old school bug zappers did when I was growing up (not when they're zapping, but just in general. This is silent when it isn't zapping).I did find that the solar panel was loose when I got it, but there's a simple Philips head screw I tightened in the hinge, and it's really solid now. It was flopping back down on itself out of the box. That's a slight QA/attention to detail issue in the manufacturing, but also something I could see loosening occasionally over time. Luckily, it's easy to adjust, and I may throw some Locktight in there if it becomes an issue. I could easily have seen them building this with a non-serviceable hinge, so I appreciate this approach even if it means it was a little loose when I got. I'd rather have that than one that loosens over time and I can't do anything but throw out the unit and get something else. The instructions are good and useful, as well.Overall, it's a nice little unit, and has been good at its job so far.
