….I use a lot of essential oils (I make most of my own toiletries and cleaning products), but for some reason, I have never used Bergamot, so was delighted to have the opportunity to order this one.I have just used it for the first time. Diffused in my waterless diffuser in my kitchen. I pottered a while cleaning up the kitchen and then left - the diffuser turns itself off.About an 30 minutes later I went back to the kitchen, and was met by quite a lovely, refreshing scent. It wasn’t overpowering, it was just an air of background, refreshing scent.I really like it, tomorrow I will try it in other roomsI would absolutely order again and very happy to recommend

This box is small. The cardboard of the box got slightly damaged in shipping (see photo: damage circled in red) which didn't bother me because I'm keeping it for my own use, but might have annoyed me if I had bought it to give as a gift; I like to give presents that are in pristine condition.The bottle inside is even smaller. I snapped photos next to a regular-sized pen to give you a sense of size. If you search on amazon, it seems like you will be able to find larger quantities of bergamot oil at relatively lower prices, so if price sensitivity is one of your highest concerns, this might not be for you.However, I really like it. First, I always appreciate things that are not made in the usual 2nd- and 3rd-world sweatshop/ communist countries. I will try to find things made in the UK but this is made in Europe (Italy) and that's a "close second."Second, it smells divine. Bergamot essential oil is apparently derived from the fruit's skin, and to me it smells a bit like a spicier, more floral grapefruit. I have been using this on my little wooden block (arrived with a different essential oils kit a few months ago, and I've come to love it: pictured in one of my snapshots). I've followed online advice that says it smells best mixed with essential oils from other citrus and or with floral scents. My favourite thus far is this bergamot oil blended with jasmine and one drop of sweet orange. No, I don't believe it has "healing properties" that will diminish my anxiety or calm my nerves, but it smells heavenly whenever I go into my bathroom. It seems to be of lovely quality.Third, as I only use three or four drops/ week to scent my room, the small bottle should last for months at this rate and I wouldn't mind paying less than £6 (current price of this bottle) for months of pretty scent.MADE IN ITALY. Viva Italia!

This oil reminds me slightly of a nice aftershave I used to use - amost useless to say as I can't remember which one but what I can say for sure is that we really like this oil in our diffuser - I have it in my office.It's a small bottle but little goes a long way(5 drops max) and it lasts for a couple of hours. It has a deep, true bergamot scent which I love.I'm using it every day, happy to recommend.

Not sure how potent this oil is, as with most essential oil, the smell is strong and pungent, whereas this is very light and fresh, and even though it's a citrus based formula, I think it should be stronger than this. It comes in at a very competitive price, but if you end up needing to use double the quantity as I did, it's a false economy. I'd only really buy this again if I couldn't find a natural medicine standard oil. Sorry!

Just love the smell of Bergamot and this little bottle packs a punch. So many different uses for it. You can use it to scent your rooms in a diffuser; mix it with a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil and apply it to your skin or hair or drop some into your bath. It's just lovely, and has that wonderful citrus smell that is so uplifting.at £5.99 for an essential oil, stated to be natural and, it smells completely natural and genuine, this little bottle is a joyful steal. Everyone needs a little waft of Bergamot in their life. Lovely product.
