My go-to laundry soap for 8+ years
I have been using Tangie laundry soap for over 8 years now. Great price point, zero waste, no strong scents, works great on cloth diapers and supports a small business which I always love.

Never going back to another detergent!
I LOVE this stuff!! We are expecting in June and are trying new ways to reduce waste and save money. I have done about 20 loads already and every load has come out squeaky clean. I bought a glass mason jar with a metal dispenser and use that to dispense the detergent. I measured a shot glass and use that to measure the loads. I use .5 oz for a regular load and 1 oz for a stinky or large load. This stuff is going to last for a long time, a little goes a long way. I have washed my dogs blankets, bathroom rugs, my fiancé's work out clothes, and even a small soiled rug. It all comes out feeling soft and clean. I don't really notice a scent. I am telling all my family and friends about this stuff, definetly worth the money!(PS I have a front loading HE washer machine)

Perfect for us and I switched over from Tide.
This stuff is awesome! I'm not a crunchy momma or anything. I just want cleanclothes but I also want to cut down on plastic. So I took my old tide container, cut this blockof soap into smaller pieces, put the pieces in the tide container, added the approximate about of waterand let it sit overnight. Now I have a full container, plus I have another chunk of the soap to use next time. It's easy, economical, and good for the environment! My clothes are clean and have a clean smell. It's not astrong tide smell, but a light clean smell.

Safe andnatural. but doesn’t work well
Been using this product for quite awhile on and off. I would not consider it to be a strong detergent. I typically use it for lightly soiled items. Or as a second wash (first wash being with regular store brand detergents). I use it as a second wash to help remove chemicals from the first wash and for a better clean. I use coin op machines so there is no choice for longer cycle times. Truly does seem to be a non toxic detergent which is what I like. I use baking soda with it. Also use about twice the suggested amount making it an expensive choice.

I want to love this
Alright, guys. I was super duper excited to try this. A soap with good reviews that would go a long way and be good for the environment? Count me in!At the same time, I switched to a more natural aluminum free deodorant and a new skin cream. Everything seemed great. The laundry scent was okay. Not great, not bad. Everything appeared to be getting relatively clean. A month into the switch and I’m pretty pleased. The whites aren’t as white, but it’s a small sacrifice - right? Then last week I get an odd whiff. I realize it’s me. My armpits are super gross. My pits themselves smell fine. But my shirt does not. Maybe it’s the new deodorant? I sniff all the armpits of my newly cleaned shirts and bras. They all smell pretty obnoxious. I’m not a heavy sweater, but something is definitely wrong. So I toss all of them, even the clean ones, into the wash again. They still stink. I use the handy stain remover sample that was included in my shipment on each armpit and wash *again*. Still stinks. I take some bar soap and laboriously scrub at each shirt and wash again. The funk is IN THERE. I start to feel like I’m going crazy. I wonder if I’m going to have to throw out every shirt I own. All of my clothes seem dingy and smelly. My husband brings home a tub of gain. One wash and they’re all clean. Gain did what four to five washings of this stuff couldn’t do. So as much as I want to believe in this product, I just can’t. I followed the directions. I tried small amounts. I tried 5x the amounts. I double rinsed. It just doesn’t keep up with my family.

Do not use in your auto dispenser
Cleans clothes, just don't put it in your auto dispenser. We use an old gallon size tide container to mix and dispense it.

Overall awesome!!
I am super excited to have found this by (happy!) mistake!!! We have always used the cheapest laundry soap we could find due to income limitations, but this lasts longer and does an even better overall job than our normal! I did use an old container and that was a BAD IDEA - it turned moldy! >:O SO my only recommendation is to ensure you have a proper container (still researching to find what that actually would be - maybe I'll use the vinegar container when it's done and cleaned out?), but otherwise so very happy!!Also, to the reviewers who mentioned the smell... I'm so sorry that it worked that way! I was relieved to find that the FUNK smell from my super sweaty pits was actually REDUCED significantly with this laundry soap from our previous generic attempt. I have fewer clothes ruined now (and yeah, I have tried EVERYTHING to get out that nasty smell, including different body washes / soaps / deoderants, etc). SOOOO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THIS!!!

Clean laundry with zero plastic
I waited to write this review until I used this product for several months. I'm a former Tide user, so my expectations are high. This product works very well. (For me, the product works best when I use a vinegar mixture in the softener dispenser.) I'll admit, it was an adjustment not having that perfumed smell saturate our clothes from the use of detergent and softener, but I don't miss it. When I switch to this product, I didnt mention it to my family. I waited to see if anyone noticed a difference - if anyone missed that Downy smell. No one noticed. After a month of use, still no one noticed. After all these years, I assumed clean laundry had to have a strong perfumed scent. I was wrong. I'm using less plastic and my laundry is clean. Win for this product. (Note: I still use a small about of bleach with white towels and washcloths. Yes, a laundry sin, but old habits die hard. Baby steps!)
