This plan-tilt device is the missing link in the Ring catalogue ... spotlight, searchlight, and small static indoor cams, a mailbox sensor,chimes, doorbell cams already onboard, but this cam, which pans and tilts on command from the Ring app, adds a bow to the package. Wall mounting is tricky, tho, and for mwe required drilling a hole in the plastic mount and securing it with a larger, longer screw than the ones provided in the box. Ring app already on our devices, adding this one was simple, 1st time maniputated from the Ring dashboard, it worked like a charm. This is our screened porch cat cam, mounted abojt 7 feet up the interior wall, makes us feel they're secure, they don't seem to mind being on camera, night vision feature is terrific.

Love this indoor camera! We have it set up between our kitchen and living room, so we can move the view to either space we want to look at. We use it to monitor the dogs when we're away from home. Works great and the picture is very vibrant even at night.

This is a review of the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera. Overall, I give it 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. This is an initial review as the camera was set up not long ago.Likes:1. Quality camera resolution. Of course this can be dependent on your internet speed as it is connected via WiFi.2. Night vision works great.3. Motion detection works great and is highly adjustable for range and sensitivity.4. Alerts of any motion is great and can be adjusted to your preferences.5. App for remote viewing is good and easy to use basic stuff. Some adjustments when you have it integrated to the Ring Alarm can get more complicated.6. Audio receive and transmit is great.7. The Pan and Tilt features are such an advantage over the old models. Now you can swivel side-to-side, up-and-down from the app in your phone or tablet. Plus, after viewing is done, the camera will reset to the default position, which I really like. If you want a more permanent adjustment, just physically adjust the camera.8. A little more weight to the camera versus the older models that were too lightweight. If I bumped the cord of the old ones, it would jostle the position and angle of view. The bew model minimizes this with a little more heft, which will keep it stable when it Pan-Tilts.Dislike:- None so far for this camera. I do have some complaints for may aging Ring system. Sometimes I felt that when you get an alert and try to view the alert (never tried with this specific camera yet), it would be delayed before you can get a live feed. By the time you see anything, the person could be long gone. Then when you go to review the footage, it takes long to load.Overall, this Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera has been great initially, 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. We shall see in the long-term. The old ones are still working great, but how will the pan-tilt motors hold up?

So to cut to the chase. should be 5 star, but I gave it a 4. reasonsPros-- great quality- not 4k but still good quality- camera turning radius is amazing- no noise when camera is turning so nobody will hear it when youre watching and following them.- camera doesn't make a click noise when you go on live view like other cameras.-Cons- some not from Ring but still- Delivery and packing was horrible. box came smashed the side of the camera.- the internet went off the other day and then when I got internet back I had very weird connection issues with the camera. it said it was online and connected, but I wasnt getting notified all who was coming and going though out the entire day.- wasnt sure if there were problems with the camera because of the delivery.- Camera doesn't follow the person. maybe they should have it set up to where if you have two cameras in the same area, maybe one camera should be able to follow the person or it should be an option.all in all- great camera, might have some tech issues but idk if its because the internet went out and it took a little bit for it to reset after unplugging the camera.. or if its because of the bad packaging I got.. Camera is worth the price. I want another one.
