A small box that happily runs two big screens.......
I’ve been running the MSI Cubi 5 with an i7 chip for a while now, and it’s hard to believe so much power fits into such a small box. It’s about the size of a couple of stacked paperbacks, so it tucks neatly behind the monitor and keeps the desk nice and clear. I added my own RAM and SSD, which was straightforward enough, and once it fired up the speed was instantly noticeable.... It tool 7 seconds from pressing the on button to being able to open programmes quickly, websites load in a flash, and even with plenty of tabs and files open it doesn’t slow down. Installing the memory and SSD was an easy task, even for me as an amateur in computer builds.... One of the best things for me has been the two-monitor setup. I’ve got one screen running through HDMI and another on the DisplayPort, and it handles both with ease. No lag, no stutter, just plenty of space to spread out documents, emails, and the odd photo project. Having two screens side by side makes everyday jobs feel less cramped, and the Cubi doesn’t even break a sweat powering them. Whether it be the PC or the displays (I don't know), both screens start up automatically when the Cubi on switch is pressed.... so trivial, but saves me having to turn them on manually! It’s very quiet in day-to-day use. Most of the time I can’t hear the fan at all, and even when it’s working harder during bigger tasks it’s just a gentle hum in the background. That makes it ideal for working in the evening or when others are watching TV in the same room. Despite being so small, it never feels like it’s overheating or struggling. Connectivity is excellent too. There’s Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C, plenty of USB ports for older devices, plus WiFi 6E and dual LAN, so it’s well set up for the future. I’ve also tried it with an external hard drive for backups and it handled the transfer speed beautifully. It really does give you the flexibility of a big desktop without the bulk. For me, the Cubi 5 has slotted perfectly into the our home. It runs fast, stays quiet, and copes brilliantly with two monitors, which is all I really ask of a home PC. If you want something compact, tidy, and still powerful enough for serious work, it’s an excellent buy. I wouldn't be without it now...

Thanks for helping us save the planet LOL (tagline on the box)
Well, only 4 stars as not really tested yet, but first impressions are absolutely awesome... ssd and m.2 nvme in a tiny box. Not put it on a mains power tester yet, but certainly fast enough for a browser/simple-compiler dev box based on a rough comparison with gmktec g3 n100 box.. (better than the g3 as faster nvm and memory) A little problem trying to install linux... do not put a boot usb stick in, get into uefi and disable secure boot first, then boot from media.

Small, quiet and reliable
Opted for the barebones N200 version. Sure, there are cheaper alternatives available on Amazon and elsewhere but I've come to trust MSI and they haven't let me down yet. I added a 1TB m.2 SSD and a single 32 GB DDR4 stick (it won't take more than one). I'm not sure how the N200 compares to the N100 but I'm impressed by its speed given its size and low power consumption.

Okay does the job
It’s okay. I got mine discounted because it was an Opened box and Amazon sold it discounted. There was nowhere for a hard drive other than an m2 but I can live with that, but it’s laggy on windows 10 with 8gb of ram and 500gb Ssd and the Ssd is a good Ssd with 500/500 read and write speed. I’m guessing the N4500 isn’t as powerful as the newer N100 or N5100 but I wanted it to install Linux and learn Linux so I can ditch windows so it’s all good, we all know windows is full of bloatware unfortunately. They are good for Jellyfin servers and easy to maintain and I’d imagine they are easy to install thermal paste on, the fan is a little audible on windows 10. I’d hate to think what the system is like on windows 11 mind you

Small Footprint, Energy efficient and does the job!
I bought the Cubi N ADL to replace an old Intel NUC that became faulty and couldn't justify spending a fortune on the latest NUC and didn't want to gamble on some unknown brands this is where I stumbled across the CUBI N ADL which I feel is from a reputable and reliable brand. The build quality is great, small and lightweight; from using it all day and it does the job needed and much more, I opted for the N100 model due to what I needed it to dois not performance hunger however If you're looking for something to give you the extra umpft due to what I've experienced on the N100 I assume the i3 / i5 or i7 version will be just as good. The unboxing was straight forward and it comes with all the key parts to get things going, AC Adapter, the device itself and I also found a VESA bracket and mounting screw In the box nice finishing touch. This bracket enables to mount the mini pc device onto a back of a monitor and an absolute godsend if you have a small desk like me. Overall absolutely delighted with the device and can't recommend it more if your looking for a NUC replacement.

High quality, totally silent!
Feels really solid, I suspect I am going to get a lot of life from this. Coupled the barebones version with a 512gb M2 SSD, and 32GB RAM which works great. It comes with WiFi 5 as standard which was a little disappointing so upgraded that with a WiFi 6 card.

Good value and simple to build.
Needed an extra computer for house as son using laptop for school/gaming, seemed a neater solution than a cheap laptop as had monitor etc for my work laptop. Added 8gb laptop size ram and 500gb m2 storage from Amazon which were delivered same day and got a Windows 11 licence key for ~£10 from one of the grey market sites. Needed glasses screwdriver a usb drive (8gb+) and access to another pc to use Microsoft install building utility. Very simple to fit the ram and storage took me 10 mins to take bottom off slip them in as per instruction and reassemble. Getting the usb stick ready took 40 mins or so but again very easy instructions from Microsoft. Plugged it in stuck usb in and fires up to windows 11 build menu. System does everything I need it for essentially instantly, spreadsheets, music, browsing and very quiet. All in costs about £235 and an hour of my time.
