I bought this specifically for long distance travel in my car. It really helped with back pain due to sitting for long times. I highly recommend it! Very comfortable and heats up nicely. Low noise level and not distracting. Definitely durable.

Surprisingly, this back massager is very soothing, especially after an active day. Each of the 5 unique massages, together with the heat choice, really relaxe your body. My favorite is number 5. It automatically goes through each different massage, completes the entire cycle, then shuts off. It's easy to operate, even allowing you to choose to stay with a particular massage. It covers from the neck to the thighs. I put it on our lounge chair, even though it is more suited to a hard pack chair. I used a bungee cord to keep the back up against the padded back. It's a draw for my husband too, he uses it at least once a day for one or two cycles. Each full cycle goes for about ten minutes, and is pretty quiet. It's also easy to sit on even without using the massage feature. I definitely and highly recommend this massager, hands down.

This thing is so thick and the massage is so violent and loud, I can't imagine using this in any circumstance. We returned it. We got it to use for a road trip, but you probably wouldn't even be able to hear sirens coming behind you or a truck honking at you, if you had this thing on. It's like having a Power to running. Not to mention, like I said, it's so thick that there's no way you'd be able to get comfortable in my opinion. Also, the massage is ridiculously uncomfortable, and the various settings are more like massage timing patterns (vs soft, medium, hard). So it's like: "hard-hard-hard" or "hard---hard", etc.

Works 10x better than I even expected. So glad I didn’t bother getting the $100 plus models that I was seeing online. This one works amazing and it’s half the price. I have a long commute into work and my back pain is virtually gone after just a few uses.

The seat cover does a quality job in it's main functions of vibrating modes and heat. It is not the most comfortable thing to sit on but on a long trip I'll trade minor butt discomfort for a less sore back!My issue is the straps on the seat cover made to keep it in place and stretched out properly over the seat. Without the straps connected, the seat cover moves about and needs constant adjustment - which is why they added the straps. The issue is the straps are too tight (at least for my car) to pull under the seat and clip it with the cheap plastic clips they included. The clips break easily due to being pulled on so forcefully and when it breaks it will snapback and whack your leg. It's pretty annoying! I'm out of clips already.

The program mode section of the contol should be labeled rotation mode because it sequentially goes through 1 through 5 automatically. If the program mode is not used, a specific area can be chosen to run. After 20 minutes the unit shuts off, I assume for safety if heat is on. 20 minutes is not enough, but just restart it in the same mode. To use this on recliner type chairs, the straps on the back are too short. In hip mode it is fairly quiet, but the more modes in operation the louder it is. For me, it's not a distraction until it's in the shoulders mode. I love that it can be used in my car.
