Worked beautifully on my Louis Vuitton bag, great value too
I used Bick 4 on my Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandoulière and I’m seriously impressed. It cleaned and conditioned the leather perfectly without darkening or altering the color, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It brought back a nice soft glow and made the leather feel fresh and supple again. The application was super easy, and it absorbed well without leaving any residue or greasiness. I also really appreciate that it's safe for all colors of leather, so I feel confident using it on my more expensive items. It works really well and you don’t need a ton of product, so the bottle goes a long way. For the price, it’s a fantastic value. If you want something gentle but effective for cleaning and conditioning your leather goods, this is definitely worth it.

Essential product to keep your leather shoes and even jackets looking good and new
This is magic. I should have gotten this a long time ago. I had some leather boots which were all dried out because I haven't worn them in a while and a few applications of this and they were good as new. No dry papery leather and the color shined up just like new too.I use it on my cowboy boots every other week or so since I wear them daily and sometimes they need a little conditioning. This removes all the scuffs and restores a rich tone to the brown leather boots and shoes. It doesn't darken the color per se but it restores it to a nice rich tone which if your shoes are dried out and lightened then this would look like it darkened it but it's not.I even use it on my leather jackets and I am thinking about using it on my leather car seats. Why not? It's leather and it's a conditioner. The jackets turned out great and the colors look good after an application.I definitely would recommend anyone with leather shoes and boots to get a bottle or two and apply liberally and frequently as needed to preserve the leather and keep your footwear looking good.

One of two essential leather care products
I like leather products, and I like to take care of my stuff, so the right leather care product is critical. I've used a great many over the years and have settled on two as being clearly superior: Bick 4 and Leather Honey (Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner 8oz Bottle). They are quite different from each other.Bick 4: I'm pretty sure this stuff is what North Beach Leather used to sell under their own name. It is a lanolin/oil lotion that really works. I use it bare handed, and my skin feels soft and good afterwards. It doesn't darken leather, and it cleans as it works if I wipe it up before it is all soaked in. I've used it on my wife's old Chanel purse, an Armani jacket, and some Coach gloves. In every case, it did exactly what I wanted, making the leather softer, more suppler, and feel great. It is easy to wipe Bick 4 off of areas it is unwanted, like plastic or metal.Leather Honey: Leather Honey has a unique effect, making leather somehow feel denser and more hydrated. It is hard to explain, but it is very different than the effect of more lotion-like products, and I've tried a lot of them. On my favorite ten-year-old leather jacket from North Beach Leather, Leather Honey soaked in quickly in certain spots, and I added some more. After two hours, there was nothing to wipe away. The already heavy jacket feels heavier, better, and the results have proven to hold up and add more rain resistance. A new black leather feels more supple. A pair of black Ferragamos appear less abraded at the toe. Brown Sebago deck shoes certainly got more supple and soaked in a lot. The color darkened. That brings me to the three small caveats: 1) Leather Honey is not a cleaner. Since it isn't water-based like lotion products, dirt stays. For example, on the Sebagos, an area that was a bit dirty was just the same, but the leather under it was clearly treated. 2) Leather Honey doesn't evaporate on plastics and rubbers, nor does it wipe off that easily. A day after treating the Sebagos, the soles still had Leather Honey on them, now somewhat sticky. Obviously I should have done a better job of wiping. 3) Leather honey can and will darken some light leathers.Which one should you use?I use Bick 4 for thinner leathers, or ones for which darkening would be a problem, or if I'm trying to clean and condition in one step. If the words that come to mind with the leather you're treating are "soft," "buttery," or "thin," then use Bick 4. Its effect won't last as long as Leather Honey's, but it works, and it works beautifully, doing just what you want a leather conditioner to do.I use Leather Honey for thick leathers that I want to feel more like high quality leather. Think cow hide over lamb skin. I make sure the leather is clean, and use Leather Honey if water resistance is important. I use Leather Honey if the leather is really bad, because it does more than the Bick 4. I use it when some darkening wouldn't be a problem. Leather Honey makes all leather more, er, leathery, and I mean that in a good way.

Preserve and Protect
Upon applying Bick 4 to several items, including a cherished leather jacket and a pair of boots, I was pleased to observe that it lived up to its claims of not altering the color. It absorbed quickly without leaving any greasy residue, which is a significant plus, as some conditioners can leave surfaces feeling slick or oily. The conditioner left my leather feeling supple and refreshed. It effectively reduced the appearance of minor scratches and scuffs, revitalizing older items that had started to look a bit worn. The leather's natural texture was enhanced, making each item feel as if it had just come off the shelf. However, I did notice that while Bick 4 is excellent for regular maintenance and minor imperfections, it struggles a bit with very dry or cracked leather. In these cases, multiple applications were necessary to see significant improvements, and even then, it did not completely restore the leather. For routine conditioning and light cleaning, it works wonderfully, but for more severe damage, its capabilities are somewhat limited. The bottle's design is functional, easy to use, and dispenses the product without mess or waste. At 8 oz, it offers good value, lasting quite long given that a little goes a long way.

Pretty good stuff
My leather was pretty bad so it's not going to restore it 100% but it really did a great job. A lot of the cracks filled in and there's little to no smell either. A noticeable healthy shine after usage. I didn't take a before and after photo, I don't think it's that noticeable on camera but it definitely did a job on the leather and improved it. Never tried any other product so I can't compare but this one is pretty good.

Good product
This stuff works great! Does not darken leather. I cleaned my cowgirl boots with this today and they look great. Moisturized the leather well. Very easy to use

Makes leather soft and supple, absords without a reside.
Works great on my work and casual boots, seems to make the leather softer and it dries quickly doesn't leave the surface greasy. Hopefully this will extend the lifespan of my boots and other leather gear like gloves.
