The pattern instructions are printed in sections and the rounds are spaced so they are easy to read. Color photos are a plus, many books are in black and white. The spiral binding makes the book lay flat, again making it easy to use while working. I like to put my books on a stand where I can easily see it. As an experienced 55+ crocheting years, great grandmother, I will use this book as one of my teaching textbooks. I noticed in the reviews some had trouble reading the directions, I can only guess that perhaps they had not yet learned how to read the abbreviations that are used in all patterns. Many of my students came to me to learn how to read a pattern. I hope those folks find a good teacher to help them.

Nicely done, patterns are clear, lots of great pictures, should work well for any crochet level. I would recommend.

A great book to get you started
A great book for our little beginner! She loves it and it has given her a much better understanding of the different stitches and the “crochet language”. She also likes the little animal crochet projects and has been making everyone the cutest little critters!

Great patterns
I had fun crocheting these cuties, especially the frog!!! Clear instructions. I might suggest adding the number of stitches after a round. It helps us that are uncertain if we are doing it right. Thank you for the patterns.

Clear instructions but would have liked to know fi ished dimensions. Also including the number of finished stitches per round would have been helpful.
