I prefer cargo shorts for travel and summer. These are an excellent choice. There are 4 deep pockets in the front, one on each side are zippered and the lower 2 are buttoned. Two button fastened pockets are in the back and of course 2 conventional front upper pockets for a total of 8 pockets! I like the front zippered pockets for securing my wallet and cell phone. The other 4 buttoned pockets have a large hearty button and are big enough to hold everything else you could possibly need. The belt loops are sturdy and properly spaced. On top of all that these are a great value and the fit is perfect!

very nice materia land fit with solid stitching.colors look great.giving 4 stars due to the fly zipper seems a little cheap IMO.we shall see how it holds up.if not for zipper would easily be 5 starsbought grey/greengrey and yellow.yellow are my fav bought another pair

I like these cargo shorts because they are very functional for me as well as being attractive looking. I particularly like the green color ones that I had ordered. I regularly walk my dogs and hike with them on forested trails, and the extra pockets are why I wanted cargo shorts rather than other types of shorts. The only issue I originally had was that I had originally ordered 2 pairs with a 33" waist based upon the chart in the description. My usual size is 32". When they arrived, I tried one of them on, and after zipping it up and buttoning the button, they dropped over my hips to the floor. Obviously, that pair could not have been a true 33" (or even close). So, I returned both pairs that I had ordered and ordered a single 32" pair. This one fit perfectly. I might order a 2nd pair of 32s later because I like the pair I have.

I ordered one pair of these shorts in black. I liked them, they fit well, even though I am a little heavy. Ordered two more black pairs. In the meantime, the stitching came out of the bottom of the pocket, I noticed when coins kept slipping thru. Not a big deal, it was quickly sewed up. I am no expert, but I think the stitching is a little low on quality. Now the next two have arrived. Both are supposed to be black. One it gray. They shipped from two different locations. Now I am annoyed. I will end up keeping the gray as I do not want to bother with a return. But the bad pocket sewing, then the wrong color have taken this from 5 starts to just 3.

Ordered these after shopping $45-$65 cargo shorts in "sports stores". Very pleased with the style and fabric quality. They are a bit low rise in the waist for my preference. The button holes (waist & pockets) are not the best, a little small for the bottom size and not a good stitched edge around them. Fly zipper is not at all a smooth, quality one. That's the biggest negative I've noticed.Nice at the price point, but a couple of corners cut to get there.

They very durable, light and true to size ..I personally enjoy all the pockets. Highly recommended jblair
