Received my package quickly from Amazon. I do have another AV Access device called the iDockB30 but it's good for two desktops and a laptop and I wanted the one that can connect to two laptops to have as my work keyboard-video-mouse (KVM).It's easy to set up. Just two USB-C cables that go to the corresponding ports on the back of the iDockC20 and power. The other ends of the USB-C cables will go to the respective laptops. I'm a big Lenovo ThinkPad fan so I have a ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 AMD from my work and a ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 AMD as my personal daily driver. Turned on the unit and works well. Though the T14 had a little issue connecting but once I rebooted it worked fine. I'm able to press the switch on the docking unit to switch between the two with no issue.Looking over the build it looks solid, and the ports are labeled clearly so you know what device to plug into what.There are a decent number of ports in the back and the SD card reader is convenient to have since at my work place, I sometimes need to use the cards to read any external data. I tested out the network connectivity between the two by switching and it doesn't seem to lose the connection which is nice.Since the power distribution is 60W I would only recommend the KVM for use on business class laptops like the Lenovo ThinkPads. It would be advisable that if you are going to be connecting a gaming laptop on it like a Asus Strix G16 or a Lenovo Legion i7 having USB-C ports it will provide enough power if you plan to game on it. I would only use it for productivity work. I hope the next iteration of the USB-C ports on the docking unit will be like USB 4 or Thunderbolt 4/5 but for right now it suits to what I need to it do at my workplace.I do have dual monitors, and they worked great on them. No issue whatsoever since the monitors I have are 27-inch 1080P and a 32-inch 1440P.I have used it for quite a number of days, and I personally like the device. It is working great so far for me and does what I need it to do. Since I do IT work, I like the fact that I can plug in a second laptop and run through items without having to plug in a monitor etc.

I was looking for a KVM switch that I could utilize with my work laptop and my home laptop. It was difficult to find one that was a simple setup and function they way I wanted. When I open the box, the unit felt sturdy and well make. You could tell right away this was a quality product. The design looked simple and professional and fit well on my desk. While more expensive than other models I researched, the value of the product was clear and worth the money. Connecting everything was easy and I saw no flickering or loss of quality between my monitors.

I've been using this AV Access KVM switch to alternate between my personal and work laptops, and it's been a fantastic addition to my home office setup. The switch between devices is smooth and nearly instantaneous—it takes just a couple of seconds with the front button. No lag. I have two monitors connected via the HDMI ports, and they work flawlessly. The dual USB-C input setup is very convenient, and everything stays connected—keyboard, mouse, webcam, etc.—without needing to replug anything. It also charges both laptops with up to 60W, which saves me from having to deal with extra power cables. Highly recommend it if you’re juggling two laptops and want a clean, efficient dual-screen setup.

Garbage product. Worked fine for 3 months. Then the usb port for mouse died, then shortly thereafter the usb port for keyboard failed. So now I need to physically move mouse and keyboard usb connections. At least the dual monitors still work (for now).Save your money, look elsewhere

05/08/25 update. 1) Audio issue resolved. Just using a USB-A wired and/or USB-C dongle to do both in & out on a headset via separate mic and headset plug-ins. 2) As other users have noted, it runs hot, not warm, so plan on keeping the unit on the desktop / well-ventilated area. 3) Still bugs me that I had to buy separate USB-C Thunderbolt cables and that it came in a plastic bag...neither are acceptable at this price point. That being said, it works well, with only a slight (1-3 second) delay in mouse and keyboard action between switches. Solid product. Up the sales & marketing game a bit and it's 5 stars.Pros...1) easy to set up, 2) works great with video, mouse, and keyboard, 3) great power delivery.Cons...1) delivered in a plastic bag with no USB-C / Thunderbolt cables (would have expected those to be included at this price point) 2) Cannot get plugged in 3.5mm audio out to work across both machinesI have a personal Win 11 and a very locked-down client Win 10 machine hooked up to this dock/KVM. The client machine does not allow for Bluetooth, so I tried a USB headset plugged into the dock/KVM as try #1 - no dice on either machine. Next I tried a 3.5mm old school plug-in with my Sony cans...worked on the client machine but not on personal, and it recognizes that audio source but is playing it through my client machine speakers. So weird. Will continue to experiment.

It runs well, is affordable and has a great resolution for work and web browsing. Connectivity and functionality are great. Can easily switch between my devices and works exactly as described. Video is not as good as I expected. Easy to use and powerful, I would buy again. Reliable and recommendable. All in all, it's a great device for a neat and efficient setup! Great product at a great price!
