Easy to use and get ready to mail out!
First and foremost my first piece of advice is definitely don't rip the Box open and shred it apart when you're opening it as you will need this box to mail in your results. And be sure to read the directions very carefully. As long as you do that you are all good to go! My sleep patterns have been extremely wonky lately so I definitely wanted to get this to try it out and see if there are any genetics or any links to why I have been having such insomnia and waking up throughout the night. My mother has the exact same problem and it did not start happening until she began getting older. So I am wondering if I am having the same issue that she has and it's genetic. I'm very excited to get the results back from this test so I can know exactly how to combat those issues. I was very excited to see this test available so I definitely had to snatch it up. It comes with everything you will need including some swabs that you will swab on the inside of your cheek and follow the instructed process. After doing so you'll get it all sealed up in the proper viles/containers and mail it back. I am still waiting on mine but it has been only a couple days. I have a friend who had gotten the same kit and got her results back in and she definitely feels like it has helped make a game plan for her sleep and that she has benefited quite a bit from doing the DNA test and getting the results in. So I figured it was definitely worth a shot! I'm very impressed by how easy this is to use and get ready to ship out. If you are having similar sleep issues I definitely recommend getting this kit and see if there is a deeper issue. This is an excellent value for your money as well! I have compared it with a few other similar kits and this one is the best bang for your buck by far!

Not Available in NY
The nowfuture DNA Nutrition Test intrigued me and I was able to get a sample product, so I figured why not? I was interested in seeing the results. However, after I received the product, I reread the seller's Amazon description and it says that due to regulatory reasons, it is not available in NY state, and I live in NY. I don't feel comfortable sending my DNA to the company if they are possibly going to be unable to send me the results, so I didn't try it. If I lived in another state I would have really liked to have used this!

Easy to use but report is not comprehensive nor detailed and a bit generic
The swab test is easy to perform following the directions, and mailing it was simple with the provided mailing kit as well. Between them receiving the package and getting the actual lab results took 2 weeks based on the email notifications they sent. You have to create an account online to activate the test kit and later on to view the test results. Without activation, you can't just mail it in and expect results. There is no paper copy of results sent back, results are only online at the website but you can download a PDF copy from there. The test results, I found possibly a bit lacking in that the findings are a bit generic, and don't include something like the tested value and normal value range for the given test like what you get with blood/lab tests for glucose/triglycerides, cholesterol, etc. What you do get is an indicator whether you are average/normal on a particular category/sensitivity or whether you are deficient in it, or more/less sensitive to something. So there is some usefulness to it.Also to note that when I first received the product, it looked like it could have been tampered with or that it was shipped defective as the factory tamper seal seemed broken, and the box packaging was damaged. So I sent it back for an exchange, and the replacement arrived perfect as expected.

Excited for the results!
I was adopted overseas many moons ago, so I do not have any sort of family DNA connections. I've previously done one before with regards to my ethnicity and found out some very interesting things. Moreover, any time I see anything remotely linked to "DNA", I genuinely want to find out more about my "history" and what things may influence my being. This is a very interesting concept. I love how they broke down the "findings" into (3) different categories. Your choices are Sleep, Fitness and Nutrition. I opted for the sleep test. While I have not received the results, the testing is super simple. Like the one I did a long time ago. It requires a swab- the instructions are well documented and simple to follow. The contents are well presented. My sleep pattern has changed over the course of my adult life. I have three children, one grown and two teens at home. As with most humans, our sleep gets interrupted by many different things. I've had bouts of insomnia - so the information gained from this DNA testing- will "hopefully" provide better insight into my genetic makeup. Another thing that leaves me to believe this is a highly reliable and professional testing is the amount of directions- the amount of "tips" to look for and decipher. They use an APP- so that you can access it from your phone. The concept is very clever, the delivery was done very well. I do want to mention that the box that it arrives in- DO NOT throw that away. Inside the box they provided a "paid" return label. Save the box, after testing and following the instructions you will re-use this box to return your sample. Based on all of these findings, I do recommend this to other consumers. Once the results are in- I will update if it went as it should or if otherwise. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it was informative and helpful. :)

Seems accurate, easy to use, not much helpful info.
The kit is very easy to use. Simply swab inside your cheeks, pop it back in the box and put it in the mailbox with the return label. It took maybe a month to get the results? I didn't keep track, but it didn't seem like an overly long time. The results seem fairly accurate, it said I was a worrier vs. a warrier, which is true, I struggle with anxiety. It said I have more stamina than speed, which is true, I can run long distance, but I'm an average speed runner. Because those things seem accurate, I can infer that their other results are also accurate about what I may be more prone to regarding injury. That said, even those predictions could be made about anyone. You may have a risk of tendon or ligament injury, etc. Well, anyone should be exercising safely to prevent those types of injuries. The recommendations for every single item were pretty much the same, exercise often, eat nutritious foods, stretch before working out etc. Definitely not groundbreaking stuff here.Is it interesting to just see if your DNA predicts things correctly, yes. Is the information given worth the price, probably not.
