👍🏼👍🏼
I recently installed this security camera, and I’m very impressed! The video quality is sharp, with clear night vision and a wide viewing angle. Setting it up was straightforward, and the app is user-friendly, making it easy to access live footage. I appreciate the motion detection feature, which sends alerts to my phone whenever there’s activity. The build quality feels sturdy, and it blends well with my home’s exterior. One minor drawback is that the two-way audio can be a bit muffled, but overall, it’s a reliable and effective security solution. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their home security!

Great detection
They cameras ability to accuratley detect and identify motion and its type has been very refreshing coming from Eufy, Ring, and Tapo products. Very fast to connect for live stream and playback works pretty well, great compared to ring and eufy. The biggest problem with Reolink is only a hand full of cameras support sending a thumbnail alongside the notification, a feature that has spoiled me for free and countless other cameras. Still a good buy, cant wait to get the NFS set up.

Connectivity Issues Not The Camera's Fault
This is a great camera for the price. Easy setup. The issues reported about it dropping connection I also experienced, but working with several of these over time I learned that the problem is more with the client viewer than the camera. If you watch the live feed on just one screen for a while it stays constant. Give it a few hours to "learn" this connection before you add a second camera to the view. Try switching between balanced and fluent if it freezes up. After a little while it becomes stable and constant with two. Then, you add a third... and so on. We shouldnt have to do this, but this seems to be the way to eventually get all live cam feeds running in sync on the same screen. It was a pain to introduce them to the client gradually in this way, but it works.

Great Camera if you need Wifi functionality
Super easy to set up in outdoor areas where a POE run just isn't possible. 100% absolutely recommend the REOLINK family of products, being able to locally store your media on a MicroSD in the camera definitely beats uploading your video to some ambiguous cloud. I would absolutely buy this camera again.

Love this camera.. 👍🏽
I've had many different camera brands throughout the years from hikvision, to amcrest.. to nest.. my first impression of this camera when I logged into the webui was of disappointment I noticed that it had way less tweaks than some of the other manufacturers and I wasn't happy with that until I realized after using it a couple days that most of the tweaks that I would need to make to the older cameras are not needed because this camera automatically compensates for different environments and lighting conditions very well on its own. The object recognition features and alerts are actually useful for once it doesn't just get triggered with anything that goes by.

Great, most of the time, however it seems like it has teething issues still.
I've had some issues with this camera dropping off my network randomly and having camera image quality problems sporadically. At first I thought it was my wifi network, but my unifi network is rock solid, and I saw that the camera has both a strong signal connection and my logs show no drop-offs. I played with some of the i-frame parameters in the stream and other settings, but have not yet been able to solve the infrequent network drops yet. I'm hopefull this will be fixed with a firmware update, but there's no support page up yet for this camera's firmware, and Reolink is sometimes laggy in their support page updates (there have been several instances where they ship new firmware and take months to post the updates to the page). As the camera is now, it COULD easily be a 5 star camera, but its reliability issues force me to give it a 3 star until it improves. I've contacted Reolink support to see if they could help, but haven't made any significant progress with them so far. Attached you can see evidence of this kind of issue where there are gaps in my NVR (synology surveillance station) as well as the glitchy behavior of the video stream before it fails and drops entirely. Update: despite replacing the camera and spending extensive time shooting this still can’t get it working reliably. Probably going to need to return it, downgraded to two stars.

Blue Iris tip
Works great but if you're planning to use it with an application like Blue Iris don't forget to enable ONVIF ! The setting is buried under the network settings at Network>Advanced>Server Settings. Just enable HTTPS, RTSP, & ONVIF, and BI will see the cam. :-) Oh, and do us all a favor and after updating firmware please move your cams to an isolated subnet behind a solid firewall. The world will thank you...
