Glorious!
Oh my ! I absolutely loved this book. I read it in one massive chunk. I've always liked Jane Green but felt I might have outgrown the whole chicklit genre - but this was wonderful. It's about family, relationships and sisterhood. Perceptive, wide and thought provoking. There is nothing I could write that could give this book the praise it deserves. This is Jane Green at her very very best. I adored it.

Thank you Jane
Wasn't sure in the beginning, I couldn't identify with Ronnie at all; Suddenly got caught up in the daughter's stories and saw Jane Green at her best! A really good story which truly touched on my relationship with my own mother. Very insightful, very real, thank you Jane for showing me that relationships don't have to be perfect to be loving!

Not the best Jane Green Novel!!
I'm usually a great fan of Jane Green but I found this to be completely different to how she normally writes and at times, difficult to read. The story touches upon the theme of assisted suicide and a mother's quest to reunite her family before she dies. The story didn't have the same depth as her previous novels and I found it hard to relate to the characters.Hopefully her next book will be better!!

Just not as great as usual
Like a lot of the other readers who have given this book less than 4 or 5 stars. I'm a regular Jane Green reader, I've been buying her novels for over a decade now. This one just didn't hit me like the rest. I found it really difficult to engage with any of the characters at any stage of their life story. I found it difficult to understand their choices and root for any of their relationships as we knew so little about their significant others. Its definitely not going to stop me reading Jane's books again, she's given me too many happy moments to let one disaspointment stop buying her stories.

A Beautiful Story
What a beautiful story. Love, laughs, regrets, sadness. I shed more than just a few tears. Reading Jane's books makes me want to visit Connecticut. Maybe one day I will.

Sunshine
A lovely, if predictable, heartfelt read. A story about a mother who may not have done the best job, but comes good for her sunshine girls in the end.Love, life, cooking and growing are all ingredients in this book. Enjoy it as I did.

Families and sisters and past shared history
A excellent book switching between the present and the past and exploring family relationships and dynamics. Great characters that are easy to identify with and root for
