I have returned to Botson "Advance" (Silver Lettering on bottle and box) because I found that I am allergic to Boston Simplus Contact Lens Solution (Gold lettering on bottle). I had burning eyes and redness. Rewetting my contacts only made this worse. I returned to Botson "Advance" (Silver Lettering on bottle and box) and the burning stopped. I had this same problem with other another manufacture's wetting solution many years ago when they were using Thimerosal as a preservative. At that time, I switched to "Boston Advance" and been using for many years.I called Boston with my story. They refunded my cost of the "Simplus" and provided free FedEx shipping to return the "Simplus." Unfortunately, Boston had addressed the shipping label to the wrong Boston plant. Rather than that Plant trancing what happened, Boston destroyed the bottle. So, no testing was ever done on the contents.I have been using Boston "Advance" again for about a month and no redness or burning.

If you wear contacts, this is a necessity.

Only received one bottle. There is no way to remedy this except initiate an exchange. And who knows if the correct number of replacement bottles will be sent the second time. I had overnight shipping for the original purchase because I had run out of contact solution and needed it quickly but the exchange shipping will take 2 days to get here. Buyer beware. I should have read the reviews.

This is the product my optometrist recommends for my contacts. I've been wearing contacts since the 1990's and I can only wear gas permeable lenses. Thus, I have used this product for a very long time. I've never had issues with it. Both the conditioner and cleaner work well. I sometimes use the conditioner to recondition them when my eyes are super dry or irritated. A little rinse and recondition usually does the trick. I also like the cap system, as they stay attached to the bottle. As somebody who is legally blind, it is very hard to have to look for caps that come all the way off the bottles when you cleaning your contacts. I also like the consistency in brand colors, the cleaner has always been a bright red, and the conditioner has always been a bright blue. I don't think they have changed the labeiing or packaging in 30 years and I am okay with that. I always know the cleaner is red, and conditioner is blue, and it is easy fo rme to see when I don't have my contacts in.
