Great Smartwatch
I previously had a Galaxy Watch 4 which I thought was great and it did the job just fine. I fancied getting a more up to date smartwatch and I was attracted to this given it's significantly longer battery life. I have been wearing the watch 24/7 and without having disabled any default features, I charge it once per week. I have had the watch for several weeks now and it's been every bit as good as I had hoped. Visually the watch looks great (I got the slate version), however I replaced the silicone strap for a nylon one as this feels better on my wrist for long periods, but doesn't look as nice as the original. The build quality of the watch is excellent and feels solid. It certainly is heavier than my last watch but wearing it has not been an issue at all. Also, the performance is great and it is very responsive when navigating around the apps and screens. Whilst it sounded a bit geeky, I like the idea of it having a dual screen and this has been perfectly fine, I can get the most relevant info I need without tapping on the screen to access to the Wear interface. It can be disabled but I understand it helps prolong the battery life so I would see no reason to disable it and only use the Wear interface. The only negative thing I've come across in my opinion was the included watch faces that were not great quality, however as it's Wear OS I was able to install some much better ones from 3rd parties. Whilst I previously liked using Samsung Health I was concerned the Mobvoi Health app you pair the watch to on your phone might be a step backwards. In reality, it's been just fine and it records and presents all the relevant data adequately so I've managed without the Heath app I had been used to. It can also push out to data to Goggle Fit and Strava if needed. I got the watch on a sale and I notice it's currently on offer for £122. This is a bargain at this price and I would recommend it.

Excellent and Good Looking Smartwatch
Having owned several previous TicWatch models, I was excited to see the new “Enduro” model come out. I specifically wanted something a bit different to my other watches so decided to go for the gorgeous Slate variant. I’ve been using it for about a week, and in case you don’t want to read the rest of this review, I love it! Packaging The packaging is sleek and well made, with a long box and decent internal packing to ensure protection in transit. Watch Design The Enduro looks amazing with it’s stainless steel & aluminium front, and high-strength nylon with fiberglass back. The slightly raised bezel looks particularly nice and houses the Sapphire glass – which will be more scratch resistant than the other smartwatches that have Gorilla Glass. The materials of the watch feel very durable, which you would expect from the MIL-STD-810H Military Standard specification. There are two side buttons, on the right-hand side of the watch. Both feel solid and are unobtrusive. The main central crown has an attractive and distinct red inlay circle and can be pressed in as a button but also rotates which can be used to navigate the Watch OS. The top button has a knurled finish. As far as smartwatches go, the watch is quote thin and light at 11.95mm thick and 75g weight (with strap). It feels solid and “expensive” but does not seem oversized and I feel it would suit most wrist types from teen through to adult. Strap One of the main features about the watch is the slate-coloured silicone strap, which looks and feels amazing. The strap is very soft to the touch and is flexible enough whilst also retaining a solid feel that is often lost with some silicone straps. The watch can take any 24mm quick-release strap, so plenty of scope for customisation. Display A 1.43 inch, 466x466 (326dpi) resolution dual-display. The watches tour-de-force is the always-on ultra-low-power LCD display, which shows the essential information like Time, Date, Step count, Heart Rate, NFC, Bluetooth and battery. I find it easy to read the LCD display in most light conditions, cut it can also be configured to have a coloured backlight, to assist viewing even further. To get access to the crisp OLED display though, you can click a button, touch the screen, or tilting-to-wake. Once activated, you can then use the full touch screen smart watch functionality. This display is bright, crisp, and vibrant with excellent viewing angles and dark blacks. In terms of watch faces, the watch is bundled with approximately 30 different ones, with the option to download thousands of free or paid for faces from the Google Play Store. Apps The watch OS is Wear OS 3.5, so comes with the standard apps you would expect such as Google Pay, Phone, Memo, Calc, Alarm, Stopwatch/Timer, Weather etc. Hopefully Wear OS 4 will be released soon. Personally, my most used apps are Google Keep, Strava, Spotify, and Sleep As Android, which all worked flawlessly. The more non-standard apps from Mobvoi are the Tic range: TicSleep for sleep monitoring TicZen and TicBreath for de-stress and mindfulness TicHearing for calculating ambient noise in dB TicPulse for 24/7 pulse monitoring TicOxygen for 24/7 blood oxygen level monitoring TicExercise for exercise tracking – Run, Walk, Treadmill, Cycling, Freestyle, Swimming etc. TicBarometer for Altimeter and Compass Mobvoi Health app for pulling in a lot of the above sensor information as an overview TouchScreen and Hardware The screen is responsive to touch and makes navigating the OS and apps easy. The watch uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 applications processor and ultra-low power co-processor chipset. For memory and storage, it has 2GB RAM and the 32GB ROM. I haven’t expeirneced the watch lagging, and has plenty of space to store apps and downloaded music etc. Communications come in Bluetooth 5.2 and Wireless 2.4GHz, with a whole host of GNSS technology (GPS+Beidou+Glonass+Galileo+QZSS). It is also rated for up to 5ATM Open Water Swim due to the IP68 water resistance rating, Battery Life This is where the watch really stands out for me, after using it heavily for a week I have only charged the 628mAh battery twice. This is with many of the sensors running 24/7 and not having the watch go into essential mode in order to monitor sleep via third party integration with Sleep as Android app. I tend to pop it on charge while showering, which keeps it topped up with no need to be without it. If running in purely essential mode, Mobvoi claim the watch will last 45 days, but I have not tested this. Charging The watch includes a magnetic charging base which effortlessly clicks on. I have the charger placed into a 3D printed stand, for when I am not wearing it. Conclusion Overall, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is an excellent, comfortable smartwatch. Its impressive features and robust design make it a wearable that will likely remain a favourite for a long time.

Not reliable or robust
The watch software is generally good, battery about 3 days and I like the LCD dual screen. Other than the screen I'm not sure it deserves the enduro tag as the aluminium surround is easily scratched. It locked up on me, plenty battery, unable to restart it or charge it. Mobvoi washed their hands of me saying go to Amazon and Amazon don't seem interested..... It seems as though you are buying a very expensive watch without a warranty that can be relied upon. I had initially given a good rating but will have to reduce to 1 star as I would never have bought it were the warranty issues made clear. Good tech let down by Mobvoi and Amazon.

Not bad, not great
I paid 120 on prime day. For the price it's a decent watch but, it has quickly made me realise I would of been just as happy with a generic smart watch. I wanted a wearOS device but honestly the only app I make use of is maps. I didn't think the lack of assistant / Gemini would bother me much but on a smart watch it would be useful. The low power display is decent but lacking. It doesn't display timers and the health data is often lagging behind yet to update. The crown has stopped working entirely in 1 direction. It's taken several knocks at work and I don't really use it for anything other than zooming maps, so I can forgive this. It is incredibly durable. Gets dragged across walls and knocked against ladders all day long and there is not a scratch on the screen or casing. The charger is plain garbage. Don't touch it while it charges or it might stop charging. Don't put it down too fast or it might stop charging. Why don't these watches just have a usb c port? Oh and don't believe the hype.. if you actually use it you will struggle to get more than 2days on one charge. I replaced the strap but that's just personal preference. All in all it's decent for the price, but I would have got most of not all the benefits from a cheap generic smart watch.

What a great watch. I am using Samsung Galaxy phone. The watch is very easy to setup and pair with my phone. In terms of looks, I really do think this watch is one of the best looking, if not the best looking, smart watch in the market as of today. Depends on how it is being used, I notice the battery life could last really long time. Up to 4 days on a single 30 minutes full charge. It is always great to have ultra low power (ULP) option especially when I am planning to take few days journey away from home. Leaving the vibration on and with all sensors and aod activated, it could easily last for over 2 days. Coming with sapphire crystal glass, it is a lot more durable against accidental scratches. The design of the bezel makes it feel solid, robust without giving away high-end look and feel. It looks great in both corporate setting as well as outdoor/casual setting. The fact that the watch is made to US-MIL-STD 810H standards and is certified with 5 ATM water resistance gives me a good piece of mind when wearning the watch for sport activies, swim or kayaking. It also comes with water draining feature allowing me to take extra precautionary steps ensuring no water is trapped inside the mechanic of my watch. The built-in TicHealth app appears to be very neat well organised and comprehensive. All the workout stats are easy to access and are accessible from a single location. Got a map built-in to track the route I took during exercise. When I am rushing to work in the morning, the watch automatically recognise changes in my health stats. I like the original strap that came with the watch. The design looks great and feel comfy around my arm. Certainly does not look cheap. Performance wise, it is very snappy and responsive. I did not feel any noticeable lag while interacting with the watch. Overall, I think Ticwatch Pro 5 Enduro is a great watch. It tick all my boxes on performance, built quality, design and, most importantly, its distinguishing feature for having ultra low power option so I do not have to worry wearning a watch without any battery left while away from home.

Having owned and used both the TicWatch Pro 5 and the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra, I was eager to see how the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro would stack up. Here’s my personal take on this latest iteration from Mobvoi. [Design and Build Quality] The first thing that struck me about the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is its sleek and sturdy design. The watch is crafted from 7000-series aluminum and high-strength nylon with fiberglass, giving it a premium feel. The Obsidian and Slate color options are both stylish, but I opted for the Slate design, which in my opinion looks sharp and stands out without being too flashy. The "fluororubber" watch band is exceptionally comfortable, and I wish I could purchase extra bands as spares. The build quality is top-notch, with sapphire crystal replacing Gorilla Glass, which has already proven its durability by surviving some rough treatment without significant damage. The slightly raised bezel and the cool-looking red ring on the crown add a touch of elegance, making it look like a premium timepiece. Using the rotating crown is very satisfying and haptic feedback adds to it. [Display and Dual-Screen Setup] The dual-display system of the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is one of its strongest features. The OLED display is vibrant, responsive, and bright enough to be easily readable even in direct sunlight. The ultra-low-power LCD display, while not as high-resolution, is perfect for its use case, providing essential information like time, date, heart rate, and battery level without draining the battery. This setup has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to glance at important information without fully activating the watch. This is a unique feature of TicWatch for sure. [Performance and Software] Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro delivers a smooth and glitch-free experience. I've found the performance to be very powerful, handling everything from switching between apps to tracking workouts seamlessly. Although it currently runs on Wear OS 3.5, recent updates have brought it to Wear OS 4, which has enhanced its functionality, efficiency and performance. I've experienced a couple of firmware updates with TicWatch, which all went smoothly and added new features while fixing some minor issues I encountered. [Battery Life] The battery life of the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is impressive. I've managed to get up to 4-5 days of battery life in "Smart Mode" and significantly more in "Essential Mode." This endurance is a double-edged sword; while it's great to think less about charging, it's easy to forget and not have enough juice for sports activities. However, the watch charges quickly, with a 30-minute charge providing around 60% battery life, which is more than enough for a couple of days. [Health and Activity Tracking] The health and activity tracking features on the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro are excellent. The watch includes accelerometer, gyro sensor, heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, skin temperature sensor, off-body sensor, barometer, and compass! I've found the sensor accuracy to be very good, especially after proper calibration (don't ignore it). The variety of workout options is sufficient. The embedded activity tracking apps integrate well with Google Health services, providing maximum functionality and use of sensor data. I prefer using TicWatch native apps and synchronize the health data with 3rd party apps. [Functional Design Improvements] One of the most significant improvements for me is the functional design of the watch. The rotating crown is a joy to use, allowing me to navigate through menus and health reports without obscuring the screen. The colorful backlight during workouts is a nice touch, and the haptics are strong and responsive. These small changes have made a big difference in my daily use of the watch. [Conclusion] Overall, I am very satisfied with the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro. The combination of its great build quality, high-end functional materials, and long battery life makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable and feature-rich Wear OS smartwatch. While it may not be a revolutionary update, the refinements and improvements over its predecessors are significant. If you're considering this watch, I recommend taking the time to get used to its features and settings. Proper sensor calibration and resetting the watch after firmware updates have been crucial for maintaining optimal performance and stability. With its recent update to Wear OS 4, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is a great value, and I hope Mobvoi will continue to improve the apps and release future OS and feature upgrades. For now, it's a watch that I wear daily and highly recommend.

This is my 3rd TicWatch (I started with the Pro 3 Ultra GPS, upgraded to the Pro 5) and my 4th Android WearOS watch, having been introduced by the ZTE watch that T-Mobile sold a few years ago. I was skeptical that I’d really use a smartwatch enough to justify it, but I’m hooked and can’t imagine going back to a regular watch. The Pro 5 Enduro is another winning advancement from Mobvoi. As others have noted, the upgrades over the Pro 5 are incremental so that should be considered when deciding but I am glad I upgraded, at least for the improvements in battery life, glass durability and overall performance. All the reviewer comments about battery life (for all TicWatches since the beginning) are accurate, and for me the Pro 5 Enduro lasts about 3 days longer between charges compared to the Pro 5. As documented in tech reviews, this is achieved through the innovative dual-display system. I have not used “essential mode” which promises more than a month of battery life. I don’t foresee being without access to charging so I probably won’t ever test this aspect. Charging it once or twice a week is great. Also, charging is super fast. If I realize in the morning that I have a low charge, it easily charges to full in the 45 minutes that I’m getting ready for work. I’ve read tech specs that the glass quality is now sapphire crystal, improved over the gorilla glass used in the previous model. I didn’t have any scratching or other glass problems with the previous TicWatches so I don’t have field experience with this improvement. But I like knowing that Mobvoi is constantly innovating and upgrading the product, and I don’t expect to have any problems with the glass. Overall, the build quality of the watch is excellent. It looks and feels great and I get questions about it from others who are familiar only with the more well-known smartwatches on the market. It’s a bit thinner but I can’t say I’ve noticed that. I have noticed that the rubber strap is stronger and more comfortable than on the earlier model. My main use of a smartwatch is for messaging and changing watch faces, so I am still exploring the various fitness functions and apps that TicWatch offers. That’s next – using this watch to monitor and enhance my fitness and health activities. My complaints are minimal. By default it reminds me too frequently that it’s time for some activity. I had trouble locating the setting that turns this off and had to consult Reddit, but eventually I got to it. I suggest that Mobvoi do a better job of documenting the settings, but that is not a discouragement to owning and using the watch. With advanced technology and practical functionality, it’s a great value. I recommend this watch as an upgrade or replacement for other WearOS or IOS devices. As a first smartwatch, it’s an outstanding choice for oneself or as a gift.
