I picked this waterbottle for two reasons: it's flat so it packs easily and it's half-a-litre so it's much lighter to carry. It's true it's just a plastic bottle, but the whole package is design genius. It is leak-proof for sure. For me, that flatpack design means it fits easily into any bag I'm carrying. Half-a-litre is also ample for my short hydration needs. The carry-case and strap bring style and function. Overall, it's a really neat design for a simple concept.

I bought this for my husband because he has a cpap machine and carries distilled water with him all the time. When he flies this is a nice size container to have and to put in his checked bag.

Perhaps I should blame a society that associates rectangular drinking vessels with closet drinking, but you’re gonna get some suspicious gawks from passersby. The pouch is nice and keeps the water cold. No leaking.
