What I liked: Very well made, Very colourful, Cards divided into easy to follow sections, Each card has an set opening/defence to follow thus giving you the chance to broaden your knowledge of the game.

Bite-sized helpfulness for the beginner or low-level intermediate, but with something on each card for even more advanced players ...

Almost like flash cards; they're numbered with step-by-step instructions to better one's chess game. I like that it gives opening for both white and black pieces, too; most material I've encountered only deal with the white pieces. Quick, clear, concise, and great quality for money. Recommended.

I like the concept of these cards, great for bite-sized lessons and great quality, too. I think regular, intermediate players would solve the puzzles quite easily, but a few tripped me up. Several openings are covered superficially: perhaps would have benefited from a few more of the common responses to them. I think you’d get more from the pocket book, Collins Gem Chess, to be honest. Hopefully, a further deck will be added for the next level.

Bought for a chess loving kid. Very useful and eaay to follow. The cards make it easy to pick one opening or trick an dpractice. Kid has been reading this even at dinner times.

Nice for beginners

It's a very good product for teaching biggners in chess. It has 5 types of cards: Openings by white, openings by black, introductions to basic tactics, famous games and puzzles to be solved.
