A must have for EVH DTuna / Floyd Rose guitars
I installed this trem blocker on my Charvel San Dimas along with an EVH D Tuna.Installation was a breeze. Work carefully, move trem springs out of the way, mark your spots, drill pilot holes, tighten screws by hand, adjust trem block and go.Works like a charm. Noticeable improved sustain, other stings stay in tune during bends, and the DTuna goes from E standard to drop D perfectly. I will probably put one on each of my Floyd Rose equpped guitars.A+ product.

I absolutely love this product
I absolutely love this product. It's very low profile when compared to similar items, easy to install, and it functions exceptionally well. I purchased a similar item a few years ago (same function/idea), but it didn't have a low profile, so I had to route about 3/16" of an inch out of the underside of my guitar to make it work. Not so with this one. Because of it's low profile (height) I was able to mount it to my guitar straight from the package with no other modifications needed. If I pick up any more guitars with floating bridges, I'll definitely be installing the Tremolo Stopper as the first order of business.

Makes life with a Floyd Rose much more peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable
Dead simple to install. I probably did it wrong, but it has worked great for the last two months. I did it between the existing three springs, so mine is offset AND I didn't drill pilot holes I just cranked the screws straight into the body. I worry about two little screws biting into my basswood body being the only thing keeping my guitar stable, so I've been considering purchasing another one for redundancy and to disperse the load, but that's just me being paranoid. It has worked WONDERFULLY so far and has made gigging with a Floyd Rose a total pleasure. Do yourself a favor and pop your tremolo out and slap a strip of gaff tape on the block to minimize unwanted noise from the bolt making contact with the block.

Inexpensive, multi-use, 10 min. mod.
This product is less than half the price of another I have purchased. It is just as good or better. It has a low profile, solid construction, a fine thread for adjusting, and the screws sit flush. It comes with a lock nut, adjusting wrench, and instructions. I bought three and put one on a no name strat, one on a Yamaha, an one on a American standard strat. No need to change strings. Just remove a center spring or two and install. This allows you to compare the tone before and after with the same strings. Then you decide. Of course, you lose a spring space wherever you install it, but that leaves you with four. All three guitars got a subtle increase in volume, tone clarity, and overtones. I think is the best 10 bucks you can spend for better tone besides new strings or intonation adjustments. I'm guessing it's like a third to half the increase in tone you get from new strings. You can always back off the screw for a full floating bridge session, leave it stopped, or just use it when changing strings. Better price on Amazon than their website.

Simple fix. Improves sound and playability.
I found this easy to install and stabilizes my stratocaster tremolo allowing easier tuning and intonation. The Tremsetter is also a great product, but requires a lot more skill and is a pain to fine tune. I mount this in the middle and use 4 springs total. I can't raise pitch, but you can drop the pitch like any tremolo. If you tighten the springs enough you can bend 1 1/2 steps and do unison bends while in tune and also mute and hit chords hard w/o warble. Another option is just tightening all springs and decking the tremolo, but I feel this changes the angle on the saddles which I feel affects my tone. This product is great for stability overall, but if you dive enough, your strat will most likely get seriously out of tune, in my experience, 1 of my strings always gets stuck at the nut, and is sharp or flat. I need to buy a few more of these.

Just what the 5150 ordered
So this works exactly as it is supposed to. I also offset it to one side (as seen in photo) due to my addition of the third/center spring. Upon arrival the EVH 5150 had an ever so slight backwards tilt. This allowed me to set the tension to my liking (still needed to coax the claw for perfect tuning on low E) and keeping the bridge perfectly level. In my opinion the guitar should have come with one of these. The only drawback is that there is a “clunk” when the Floyd returns to rest. This cannot be heard through the amp though. So whether that is a drawback or not is debatable.

Works great.
Very good quality. I had to use shorter wood screws for the PRS SE. The screws that came with it would have extended into the pickup cavity.

Affects tone
The tremolo stopper works exactly as designed, but it has a flaw. It creates more sustain at the point it touches the bridge. I installed it right around g/b strings. When you strum you can hear a distinct change in timbre and sustain in the strings where it is touching. It was very noticeable with clean tone If you play with tons of distortion you won't notice as much. I suspect you could use 2 of them to offset this.

Why pay silly money when this product works perfectly!?
Love this item, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than more recognised "named" products but does the job equally well. Suits me perfectly. Got it in a BC Rich guitar with Floyd rose trembling.

This is a great way to save
This is a great way to save. It's far more economical than the tremol-no which runs from 60-100 bucks. This thing is a fraction of that price and works just the same. I recommend it

Excellent piece of kit
Excellent piece of kit. Solid, small, easy to install, does the job and doesn't appear to drift. Tuning has been stable in the weeks since installation. Refreshingly inexpensive too.

Easy to install and does the job
Easy to install and does the job, the only downfall is the set screw is completely metal, meaning after doing a bend there is a clank when the tremlo block engages the screw. Easy fix is to put a rubber stopper on the block.
