Love the wood quality and how the white paint job looks. Easy to hang your quilt from it. Does not harm the integrity of the quilt, and most importantly, the quilt hangs straight!

This is beautifully made and my quilt is hanging up splendidly. The reason I gave it a "three" for easy to install is that if I had to find studs that matched the holes, it was very difficult to find them. Also, the person who hung this quilt may have been a bit more precise than most people. However, it is a beautiful way to display my beautiful quilt.

Super easy to tighten down, strong enough to hold. Comes with screws to anchor to the wall. It holds my “treasure” perfectly!

This product is of high quality. Color representation of stain choice on-line was what was received.I did not like the installation method used to mount the rack on the wall. There are screw slots spaced 16" apart with three screws provided for four slots (new math?) You have to put the screws in the wall with the head sticking out a bit and try to slide the rack onto them. It was my experience that it is virtually impossible to get the screws aligned and there is very little tolerance for not being perfectly spot on with the screw placement. I would suggest simple countersunk screw holes spaced 16" and 24" for varying stud widths. By screwing the rack from the front, through the back of the rack into the wall would have been immensely easier to accomplish. This would be covered up by the front of the rack that you clamp onto your blanket with. I think they are trying to make the rack so that you can take it down and mount the blanket and raise the clamped blanket up to the mounting screws later, but I had such an issue with this installation that I would rather get on a ladder. Perhaps they could provide both options and folks could choose the method they prefer.Other than my difficulties with the installation, this is a quality product that I would purchase again if I have the need.

It's beautiful, well crafted, and sturdy. We absolutely love it! We used it to hang a tapestry that was bought in the early 1960s in Ecuador. Installation: To install screws in wall I created a template with a piece of paper and an artist pastel. I cut a strip of paper to the size of the hanger. Then coated the edges of the eye holes with a dark artist pastel this allowed me to rub the design of the holes onto the paper. I taped the paper to the wall with painters tape. Then drilled holes through the paper and wall. Removed the paper, inserted the anchored screws into the wall and hung the hanger up.

This is an excellent rug hanger. I got the 36" black/ebony version. I noted in some earlier reviews there was frustration with affixing the hanger with installed rug to the wall. It can be relatively simple if one follows steps something like this: 1) Unscrew the knobs that hold the two wood pieces of the hanger together; 2) Take the bottom wood piece that goes against the wall and turn it over so you can see the slots that have been routed into the back to accept the wall screws; 3) Take a long strip of wood (say an old yard stick for a 36" hanger) or long strip of paper and lay it over the back of the bottom piece as a template; 4) Carefully mark on your template the top center locations of the routed screw holder indentations; 5) Place the template on the wall in the location where you want to hang the rung and carefully make marks on the wall that correspond to the marked routed screw holder indentations on the template; 6) Install the screws on the wall at the marks you just made (if you are mounting the hanger on drywall consider using dry wall anchors unless you are sure there is a wall stud beneath the dry wall surface); 7 ) On a horizontal surface mount your rug between the two wood hanger pieces and reinstall the knobs; 8) Move your completed rug and hanger combination to the wall and emplace on the screws you put in the wall. Enjoy your wall mounted piece of art!

We needed a method for hanging an expensive Turkish silk rug. Most products we considered involved metal clips or hooks that could possibly damage the rug. This beauty works perfectly! I was surprised it held such a heavy rug. Love it.
