The box itself arrived at my door looking kind of disturbing, but inside that box was a wonderful bubble wrapped envelope and in that envelope was another bubble wrapped envelope and within that envelope was a mac specific tool kit and a very sturdy box inside with custom foam padding that held the replacement screen very well along with a paper diagram with printed information for the replacement steps as well as a color booklet that would have been easy to follow had I not known what to do prior to the fix. In that booklet also was a QR code / link to what I watched later and deemed to be an accurate depiction of the display install.The screen install itself took roughly 10 minutes. And works very well. I'm not sure what the actual monitor is itself though, so that makes it difficult for me to choose what color gamut to use in the settings.Also the cleaning wipes, (dry and wet) that were in the kit, I highly recommend NOT using, THEY ARE DEFINITELY GARBAGE! Definitely made the screen dirty, like greasy almost stained like. Oh and I also didn't get whatever that little magnetic screw organizer tray was, but those were my only two issues. Kind of a bummer as I was looking forward to that but it was not included in my kit.Either way I've installed many different screens in many different varieties of laptops from Windows to Mac, and I've never seen one package as wonderfully as this! Would 1,000% recommend!

Easy install and proper tools we're given with instructions. Would definitely buy again and refer a friend!

I purchased this screen and had my brother replace it. It was very easy to do, and looked great once finished, but the panel cracked within the 1st hour of me using it! Very disappointing!

When I ordered this product it clearly said that the color I ordered was rose gold however I ended up with a silver one instead. I needed my laptop to work again quickly so I installed it anyway and it worked. But now I have a Frankenlaptop. I guess that’s what cases are for. Brightness does not seem as high even at the highest setting. Overall good functioning product with easy instructions and tools included. Recommend having a partner help you.

Screen came with all the necessary tools (color coded and labeled, which made it so much better), gloves and extras that were super helpful. Best of all a guidebook on how to replace it. I used the guide book and a YouTube video someone else posted. I was able to replace my husband’s screen in less than an hour. His screen crashed during the worst possible week and when he took it to the Mac store they wanted to charge him $500 and wait a week or to buy a new MacBook. This was a much better option and makes you feel like a tech genius when you’re done. If you don’t hear from me again for an update that means it’s still going strong 👍

The install went smooth. I ended up using the I fixit guide and the parts provided in this kit were adequate. the only thing I would recommend is getting a longer pry tool. As for the display I am completely satisfied with its condition quality and performance. This is a great diy solution for anyone with a MacBook and I highly recommend trying it out!

It all started out well. It fit well and was easy enough to install. It looked not quite as good as the original screen, but acceptable. But then 2 months later it got a vertical line down one side. Fortunately they did stand behind their product and after approaching them about it they did refund it.
