Handheld Electronic Chess Board 8 in 1 Touch Chess Computer Game Portable Electronic Chess Set for Adults, Kids, and Beginners Learn and Travel with Stylus Large LCD Display Gift(Black)

My 10 year old grandson loves it. Works well in the dark too!

I gave it 4 stars because it has multiple games and you can play chess with just pawns and kings, rooks, etc, I love these features. I took away 1 star because my unit does not have any easy games and it’s very discouraging. The whole reason I wanted a stand alone unit is that my games aren’t manipulated by some outside force. I was really hoping easy mode meant I could win some games. Nope. Computer always wins. It’s like playing against a grand champion. I’d probably have more fun on a game from the App Store.

You cannot see the pieces, way to small, very hard to operate, avoid

Youngest grandson loves chess so perfect gift for him

Perfect little chess game with very high rating 2,800 elo. Batteries last forever, very nicely lit screen and stylus other games are a huge bonus, of course always checkers but i like fox and geese best besides chess. Very good learning beginning levels 1-5 ,also takeback mode to lewrn mistakes better great little game.

Quality isn’t great. Background light went very dim within the first few days.
