I have been training with kettle bells since 2007, starting out with cheap plated bells that have been chipping with every impact. I finally upgrades to Dragon Door bells about three years ago, and every one from 16-24kgs (including doubles for the 20 and 24kgs) looks like they did the day they arrived. I just wipe them down after training to get my salty sweat off before it leads to faint rust marks. Still, they should last as long as I can still use them… in other words, they will still be here after I’m gone.I finally pulled the trigger on a 32kg bell, and it arrived in perfect condition. It seems like a small jump from 24kg to 32kg, but if you don’t have all of your tension skills down, it will not go up. This will be challenging me for some time, and at 57 years old, it will most likely be my last bell.

Well, It's a cannonball with a handle, but a nice one at that. The base is machined nice and flat for planking / renegade rows, etc. and the seam in the handle has been smoothed out nicely. Nice finish that neither gets to tacky (ouch) or slippery after breaking a sweat. I understand that this 32KG iron bell happens to be about the same size as the "official" kettlebells. This unit was an 8kg / 18lb step up from my 24kg bell, and atm about all I can handle is 2H swings, Turkish get-ups, and a few figure 8-to-hold. Indeed, 20 minutes with this fellow gets my heart rate up nearly as high as 5 minutes of price checking on Healthcare.gov Highly reccomended. (The bell, that-is).

Expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. The finish is durable and comfortable, and the overall quality is excellent.
