Bats No Longer "Hang Out" Here! This Thing Worked Pretty Quickly!
I've battled bats in my carport for what seems forever. Trying this and that to dissuade them spending the daylight hours leaving droppings and stains on the concrete slab for me to sweep out! I finally got frustrated enough to try this product, and from DAY ONE I saw a difference! It took a few days and a couple weeks overall before the droppings disappeared, but they DID! I settled on the "Duo" setting with the "Flashing" feature turned off. I'm still turning it on evenings, and back off mornings so it's not running during the day for nothing, and so it hopefully lasts longer. From time to time I've seen a few droppings nearer the entrance like they came in long enough to decide not to stay! But mostly now I see no signs they were there when I check each morning. Very pleased with this product! I did have to switch around trying the different settings to find what seemed the most effective. Hope this helped!

My cats s don't like it.
The media could not be loaded. It does say on the package it deters dogs and cats as well as rodents. My cats wouldn't come in the room while I was testing it out, so I guess it at least deters cats. I'm going to put this in a building that houses my model horses so the rats won't chew on the the plastic models and packaging. So, I won't be torturing my cats any longer. I like how it has different levels and that I can actually turn the flashing lights off. I do think the lights would startle a new pest coming into the area, but the rats would soon ignore it if they hung around. I'm hoping that high frequency works well though and the rats won't be around that long. I've had other high frequency pests control devices and find these kind of units work better than the simpler plug and play models that are permanently on just one setting, especially against rodents. I didn't detect any noise from the unit in any mode besides test. My only gripe is that the cord isn't very long. I would like to set this up in the middle of the building, but am only able to set it a little way from the outlet. This unit is very easy to set up otherwise and the instructions go into enough depth to make my eyes glaze over. It is very lightweight plastic housing, looks sturdier than I bet it actually is. If this keeps those rats away it will be well worth the price point. Some of my models costs more than this device is advertised at.

Flashing lights and different frequencies makes them go running!
So this is a GREAT device but the lights can be a bit of an annoyance. The noises are different frequencies you can change daily to disorient and keep pests away and to be honest it works GREAT and as a human you can't hear them. In regards to setting up this is literally just a plug and play device. You plug it in, set a frequency and let it do its thing so no real complicated setups. I switch between the frequencies about once a week to make sure to not make any potential intruders too used to the sounds. As with devices like this its best to keep it LOW on the ground but not too low that a mouse can potentially chew through the cord to get rid of the sound that's driving it crazy. As someone that lives in the woods/mountains this works as a great deterrent but I find the ranges it says a bit subjective. I would say it covers about 50 to 100 square feet at most so one in each room would be best to result in the most effective way to keep pests out on a more permanent state. In general this is a GREAT device but I just wish the distance was a bit further. Overall happy with how it works and will definitely consider getting more of them!

I’m not sure if this is a gimmick
The build quality is more like a child’s toy. It doesn’t really give me any confidence. It’s made of cheap plastic that doesn’t even look good. You can kind of hear something yourself, the instructions are extremely confusing. But they could also be written in a way that means that they don’t really know which settings work for which animal. But it definitely doesn’t seem to be working so far. I know your mileage varies on this kind of product, and it’s initially frustrating that you need to have line of sight with this thing which is really almost impossible for the kind of critters you are trying to repel. I think maybe old-fashioned traps and an exterminator are the better way to go.

Freaks out the dog
We recently had a mouse issue and I hate killing the little things. I just wanted them to go away. I was so excited to try this unit and placed it in our kitchen for a few days as they were raiding the pantry. At first, I didn't notice anything weird, but the directions said to change the frequency to keep the mice off-guard. When I did, our dog started acting weird and spending time in the basement (and didn't come up until we figured out the source of her discomfort and unplugged the unit). Although the product page says "safe and harmless to people, animals and pets", perhaps the definition of "safe" needs to be reconsidered. I would not recommend this unit if you have pets and plan to use it in the house. In the end, the unit has been abandoned and I've gone back to the tried-and-true mouse trap approach...so sad, I really wanted this repeller to solve the problem without me having to resort to more drastic measures.

It's doing something!
I love the wording in the instructions 'It gives the rodent a hard time, so he chooses to flee'. The day after I turned it on, my cats caught a mouse. So it must have given that mouse a hard time hearing other things, including my cats? Either way, one less rodent in the house, so I'm happy! A few weeks after that, one of my cats caught a vole. No idea how, or where that would have been hiding, but I would give credit to this device. In the 2 years I've been here, my cats have only caught one rodent before the two.
